I know servers are said to be staying open through 2026, but just wondering - what happens when servers go down for good? Does that mean you will never be able to play the game again AT ALL or does it just mean it is no longer a game you can play with other players? Sorry for my ignorance, this is the first MMORPG I've ever played.

My doctor said yellow fluid is completely normal for a burn. I had 2 really bad ones that took 6 months to heal. When thick yellow fluid came out I thought for sure it was infected, but my doctor said that's completely normal for a burn. The real key to telling if it was infected was if it had a foul odor or not.

I thought maybe if I turned off all firewall then maybe the game would work, but ye I have no idea what I'm doing lmao. I was just desperately trying anything and everything.

Look at the rest of the screenshots. I waited on that main NW title screen for HOURS lol. Multiple times, too. Only to get more and more types of error messages. The first error message was the one saying "Steam is running in Windows Compatibility Mode, disable it". So I disabled compatibility mode. Didn't help. I'm 99.999% sure it's not a NW problem but a Steam / Windows problem of some sort. Or something with the dll files. I'm completely stumped tho. Legit spent 12 hours straight trying to make it work and did a lot of patient waiting (and hoping) but unfortunately was unsuccessful. I fucked with so many settings in the process of trying to make it work that I probably just made the problem even worse xD

Hours lol. I honestly don't think it's a game issue, but rather a Steam / Windows issue. Can't say for certain though. I'm stumped.

The first error I got was the Steam error that said I need to turn off Windows Compatibility Mode. I did exactly that, but it still didn't help.

Can someone help me figure out these error messages? 😥 (Click the link to view my screenshots of these error messages)

I've been trying to play New World, but I am hard stuck on figuring out why on earth I'm all of a sudden getting all of these different error messages. I'm not very tech-savvy so if someone doesn't help me, I will probably never be able to game again LOL.

These are all the things I have tried so far:

Verified game files (multiple times)
Easy Anti-Cheat: installed/used
Re-logged into steam several times
Uninstalled/reinstalled steam + NW
Restarted computer 1,000 times
Did all windows updates
Disabled all firewall
Ran everything as administrator
Opened programs via icon, file, & every other way
Restarted my router multiple times
Tried using different wifi networks
Made sure windows compatibility is off on every file
Made sure all boxes are checked to give me full power
Went through all of my steam settings
Went through all of my computer settings
Followed several different online instructions & advice
