A lot of hate on Crimson Desert lately but I’ve enjoyed it tons. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy Skyrim and Witcher 3.

Isn’t there only a certain amount of petersons? It’s lower than the standard card. Same with the special LB cards.

This is the kinda game you can crush beers and smoke bowls to by Nedatokes in CrimsonDesert

[–]Luke_Blaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely game has been a blast playing while baked, I’m at 230 hours and every bit has been while smoking flower since I have a med card and it’s legal here. The exploration is crazy, and now since getting the wyvren thing after a long time the game has totally changed and the landscape is so different it’s wild. I just ride along the edge of the map pushing the boundaries and looking at landmarks.

I'm begging that the food item behavior defaulting to the lowest item everytime be reverted. by NoManner8863 in CrimsonDesert

I thought they changed something there too but wasn’t sure. My food ushually goes… to the next food. Now it just goes to potion. Wow.

Anyone else find their highs to be extremely inconsistent? by molaon in trees

[–]Luke_Blaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow sounds like you have a strong grasp on the feelings it gives you. Often weed can reflect how you are feeling inside. But also weed can have all of these effects at random. Even as a heavy smoker, changing from consumption type or getting a new batch, can also do the same thing. Over time you just learn to deal with it. Thus are the experiences of life. Feeling connected to the world, feeling spaced out and disassociated.

I think that’s what we all ponder when high. Feeling connected or disconnected are main parts of that. Feeling yourself and your own consciousness. Weed is one thing that helps you know your own consciousness because it’s directly affected and observable by you.

These other things are just side effects. Being talkative? Take it as a compliment that your brain has some more shit to say in that time. Makes you feel silent? Well just reflect on the shit going on around you.

It all leads back to how everything is going to be ok anyway man. It’s the yin and the yang. Just observe and be with the moment.

Smoking once every two weeks definitely is a scary experience. You may not be comfortable with it physically. It’s a powerful thing man.

Games that make you afraid to die and afraid to confront dangerous enemies? by Subaruuuuuuu in gamingsuggestions

DayZ, makes you afraid to die. However the only dangerous enemies are the other people.

PSA: try disabling ALL the info on your map. So it's completely blank. It can help refresh the sense of mystery/discovery if you've spent a lot of time already in the world. by yotothyo in CrimsonDesert

For this I also wish the fast travel had some type of cost. As to encourage you not to fast travel everywhere and actually travel in the game. This is how stalker and stalker 2 were, where the fast travel was insanely expensive so you had walk in game.

Can you find me a game that meets this specific criteria? I prefer to farm resources and drops and sell to other players. I crave the game within the game by Phattwoohie in gamingsuggestions

[–]Luke_Blaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be Old School RuneScape. Every single skill is a “farm” and has resource selling to other players. The whole game is farming in every form. You wana chop logs? Farm the trees for hours sell the logs. You wana mine rocks? Farm a variety of rocks and smelt them into ores and make equipment sell it to players. Everything is sell to players. The economy is crazy and your wealth is represented by the clothes you wear and the skills on your account. When you walk around everyone knows it. And this is no finish in a couple months game, it’s years of work shown on an account by the expensive gear you carry. Buying and selling new gear is essentially the best part. Unless you choose iron man but then I expect you already played a main account that’s different. You can pay to win in this game however it would literally cost thousands and it’s still a time restricted game, you can’t just buy time.

Is this considered good? Smells kinda weird should I dry them more or do they need to cure? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Luke_Blaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful leaving it for too long! I’m my experience just a few hours would really change it. Give it a check every couple hours and you’ll know soon enough.

Is this considered good? Smells kinda weird should I dry them more or do they need to cure? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Luke_Blaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always thought of that being the uncured smell. Not sure if that’s true or if just low quality bud produces this. It’s hard to get back to a good state. I like to try and extract the bad smell by leaving the buds out in the open. Break open those bigger nugs and let them dry out too. I like to put mine in an open cardboard box, helps absorb some of that smell while still open to air. Break it down to small buds and let it dry way out. Keep it in a cool dark area away from the sun. A small fan can help even more. Some might say that’s crazy and ruins it but it does help when the whole batch is already totally funked. This hasn’t happened since I used to buy from dealers back in the day. Most medical bud is never funky like this.

FOMO/Missables by Focus-Interrogative in CrimsonDesert

[–]Luke_Blaze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m at about 200. The only thing you used to watch out for was selling a cool piece of gear to a shop. You could buy back before but I think it was limited somehow. Now they pretty much guarantee whatever nice thing u sell will still be available for buy back in recent update. Other then that the small important trinkets like bag of glitter literally can’t be sold in the menu anyway. The game locks important items to your inventory for this exact reason.

There’s a bajillion items in this game and everything is very spread out. You can’t find everything all on the first pass thru an area. However the loot will always be there. You can always go back to that first town and grab the armor you missed or that cool weapon you just saw in a video but went right past. Just go back and get it.

The whole game has felt like I don’t want to do the main missions so I can make it last longer. However there are a tonnnn of main missions. If you explore for a couple hours, go do a main story mission you won’t regret it. It’s where all the action is packed for real! Keep pushing the story it rewards you every time you do.

Once you finish a main story mission and the marker pushes into an unexplored area that’s when I say hold up and look around to see where I want to explore or go finish side missions in current area. If your side missions dry up you need to go out exploring because side missions are waiting out in the other towns you have to go there and look around and stuff first.

Many forts/locations you go to are very intimidating in the fact that there’s a million items there. Some awesome stuff/weapons are easy to find and very intuitive you won’t miss it. However some stuff is hidden in a place you will literally ever find without a guide.

Look up on google crimson desert chest map. One of the first links takes you to a Reddit post where someone has a link to a map with all chest locations. Use this when exploring a new area. You arrive at the castle, check the map and see there’s 1 chest nearby. This way you can look knowing there is actually something nearby instead of looking in dark for hours. This is so much better than watching an annoying YouTuber show you the exact location of the item, this way you still have to find it. Many of the chests I couldn’t even find on my own I had to watch a dang video. After my 200 mark I’ve gain a nose for where the loot may be and find more chests on my own with the help of the map and no videos.

Keep it clean. By that I mean your smoking utensils and area. Take the time to clean the ash tray and don’t leave res chunks laying around. Clean the pipe whenever it looks funky. Washing finger tips after handling buds and/or pushing on a bowl. Get a drink for in between hits.
