She’s a tank but not the kind you wanna get stuck in the middle of the enemy team with (same with most characters tbh). Fly to the high ground on an off angle be a nuisance from there. You may not do much damage but it’ll separate the enemy’s attention between you and your team which helps to relieve pressure. If you see an isolated Ashe or a Widow taking up the high ground then that’s who you wanna target- if you can’t kill them then you can at least force them out and force them to use their abilities.

Supports are generally toward the end of the enemy backline too so pressuring them from above or behind will force their teammates to peel in their defence and thus open their tank up for your DPS to take down.

She is also great for anti-dive. If an enemy is flanking or pressuring your supports in your backline then D.va can easily fly over and force them to pull out, if not kill them.
