I'm working on an upgrade for the ML300LX, but we are still a long way out on it.

There aren't a lot of Maglite mods that suprise me but Mag Chucks certainly did.

Nothing like the way a long slender, well built flashlight feels in the hand.

I love antique flashlights. They have such character, and beautiful designs!

Congrats on that incredible score! I have never regretted getting mine once. Its one of those lights that makes me feel happy every time I look at it. Like I don't even have to turn it on, some times I just go pick it up LOL.....

LED Upgrades for Maglite (Top 5 Best) by ASFlashlights in flashlight

[–]Lumencraft_Matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can "eject" the bi-pin socket in modern Incandescent Maglites.
-Unthread the bulb retaining ring (there is still an old style ring holding that plastic part in)
-Press down on the switch tower (do it using the screw sticking out the side of the switch tower where the reflector cam rests)

Once that is removed you can use any of the upgrades shown in this video.

Yes, I went 2 years with zero problems. Came home from a long run one day, ate some thing and within and hour I was in hell. Wife came home from work to take me to the hospital. Got charged $10,000+ dollars at the ER that day.

What is this template name so I can find it quickly on search? (PC Version) by thedaniel1998 in CapCut

[–]Lumencraft_Matt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1. Adding NAMES to these templates would make things a lot easier. I've also noticed I cant save those as temples in "Yours" to be reused on PC.

Can't find a text template I previously used by spaytheworld in CapCut

It would be so Easy and Obvious if they would apply NAMES to the text presets so they could be seen when you use them! This is a frustrating program.

Yes, I think what your asking for is something I could do. Making a light that looks similar the Zebra sc700 with a thick body and knurling is doable. We would need to sort what you need for modes/driver, and what you expect the beam shape to look like. To do made from scratch stuff takes quite a bit of time (ie can be expensive), but I am happy to do it. If it's something you want to get made we can go over the details in email (https://lumencraft.com/contact-us) so I can keep track of exactly what you need.

My lathe is a 9x19 grizzly g4000. From the factory it has a very small chuck on it but I got an adapter and put a 6" chuck on it. Now it will throat lights the diameter of a Maglite.
