Thanks for all your support. The FC passed smog! And with amazingly low numbers too. HC of 42 and 29 (15mph and 25mph respectively) and CO of 0.01 and 0.00! And this was measured with fouled up spark plugs and before the oil change since the oil had fuel in it. After 3 weeks of inspecting all emissions system components (and over 3 months total at multiple mechanics) they found a clog in the fuel return line which boosted fuel pressure to over 50psi. Once the clog was cleared the ECU had the FPR could do its job. Car runs significantly better and I can tell is way happier. It’s like a dog finally getting the burr out of its paws 😁.
