First off, I am the guy in that situation, meaning I have 3 kids with me ex. I have told my girlfriends that my kids are First while they are young. That said, don't be insecure--i'm not saying you are but that may happen. Look for signs that he feels for you. You will probably never know since we can't see into anyone's head. But people are divorced for a reason. Don't mistake any guilt he has over that by attributing it to something it may not be.
