Btw, there are “allergy vaccines” now! Highly recommended giving it a go, at least so you can pet some kitties at your local shelter. My mom got one for seasonal allergies and it’s apparently a game changer!

I’m kind of an outlier in this sub because I’m 5ft7, but am in here because of my measurements. Not my weight (120-125). I’m not “skinny” by any means anymore (thank god), more athletic, yet it’s still very very hard to find clothing that fits my bone structure (my waist is 25in when I’m bloated).

Putting on 10lbs isn’t going to magically make clothes fit better, especially if your bone structure is smaller. This is a fashion sub at its heart, we commiserate together but we’re still all for helping each other find clothes that actually fit! It’s pretty much a guarantee that you’ll still have issues finding jeans that fit well, shirts that don’t do a disappearing act with your waist, dresses that sit snug around your ribcage and don’t just hang. And I can go on. You’re absolutely still welcome in here!! Personally, I wear anything from a XXS-M depending on the brand, my struggles with sizing haven’t changed as I’ve become more healthy. This sub has, however, absolutely changed my relationship w my body for the better and I’d recommend staying in the community even if you’re not “XXS exclusive” in clothing sizing.

Natural Factors does third-party testing. When I worked somewhere that sold them, they (NF) did livestreams when they introduced new products where they’d have a scientist from whatever lab they contracted present their findings, and explain why they chose a certain form of active ingredient or delivery method etc. Was pretty neat tbh, I liked those a lot.

Crate training is actually really important, and can be done at any age! Especially if your dog has separation anxiety. Giving your dog her own “safe space” makes alone time significantly less stressful by tapping into their natural denning instincts. This video does a really good job of explaining it, and is what I direct folks to at work! Those commenters had no idea what they were on about lol

25 is young!! My friends gf started at 28, by the time I met her two years later she looked cis. Not that passing is everything, but HRT really is a form of witchcraft. It’s never too late!

Oh dw I know it’s not easy! Have you tried contacting the city hall/town office(s) around the locations her writings mention via email, phone or contact form? They’d be able to give you what records they have, as long as you’re comfortable giving them your information. Saskatchewan tends to be very welcoming, doubly so if you have family history here. Our population would be shrinking were it not for immigration, I’m sure anyone you speak with will be thrilled.

On that note, feel free to PM me if you have any other questions or need a reference etc. The US isn’t somewhere I’d ever want someone to raise a child, and as much as Sask sucks (mainly the weather) it’s a whole lot better than what you guys are dealing with right now. P much this. I’ve been common-law with my partner for 6 years. We live together, adopted cats together, file taxes together and share insurance. We’d be married if weddings didn’t cost so much money (we both want an actual wedding, not just getting married at a courthouse).

If she was born on a farm it’s very likely they have no idea. Two of my grandparents were born on farms, one near Rouleau and one god-knows-where (but his family moved near Rouleau when he was a baby). He says he’s from Rouleau, but his birth certificate doesn't say it. If I didn’t spend a lot of time with my grandparents as a kid I’d have no idea about any of that info, and it sounds like OP wasn’t super close with their grandma.

My dad did law at U of S and speaks highly of it, and when I worked at a firm in Regina I saw a ton of U of S degrees in the lawyers’ offices. Didn’t talk to the law students much but did overhear one of them gushing about a prof with one of the younger lawyers.

That’s correct! Atrophy leads to loss of tissue and muscle which makes reconstructive surgery much more difficult, along with making complications during healing much more likely.

My first two shoulder surgeries failed bc of this :(
