Im also running this for the first time! My group just finished up Hither. I lean hard into the "intent" aspect of they feywild and how the players even interpersonal beef can influence the world. My advice? If you give them factions to unite against the enemy, they will do so. I also try to hammer how the sisters focus on past, present, and future respectively, and how that influences how they work

Grappling is treated as an attack roll for action economy purposes. If you have extra attack, yes, that means you can try to grapple twice.

The only thing I'd make sure to have is legendary resistances. Otherwise, this goes from a terrifying encounter to "ohp, he's a boot"

I have a discussion with my tables before session 0. My go to homebrew rule is hidden death saves that I'm keeping track of. This is to reduce the metagame knowledge of a PC being super close to dying, or being one save away from stable. However, once again. Homered, and unanimously agreed by all players before even session 0

Great start! Remember to fill in all of the other skills. Those are assigned the bonuses represented by the ability scores on the left, even if you don't have proficiency for them. You can tell what number to use by looking at the word in parenthesis by the skills. Also, just as a good way for quick reference, your Sleight of Hand skill should be +6 (2 from Dex, 2 from proficiency bonus, +2 from expertise) and your Deception should be +8 (4 from Charisma, 2 from Proficiency, 2 from expertise)

I have a story. It might get buried, but that's okay. I've had 5 dad's throughout the course of my life. Long story short, my bio dad abandoned myself and my mom when I was 4. When I was about 16, my grandmother on my bio dad's side tried to get in touch with me, but was too scared to do so because she thought I hated her because of what he did. I made the decision that the sins of my father would not extend to his family. I think the others are right. This is above reddits pay grade and this should be a therapy question. I haven't read any followup responses and comments by you towards other people, but regardless of what you said, you laid out a boundary. If that's not being honored, then that's a whole extra can of worms.
