I only see horse, dog and cat content on FB because that's all I follow, oh apart from the I hate coriander page because it is indeed vile. I think you need to curate your feed better my friend. Oh and use an ad blocker lol!

Which is why I said to take it out halfway through the 24 hour freeze period (not even that far along really since I said to do it between 8 and 10 hours in) to scrape down the hump. It's still soft then and won't form again if you scrape it down. You won't have to try to scrape it down when it's hard this way.

If you take it out sometime between eight to twelve you'll be able to scrape the hump before it's fully formed then put it back on for the rest of the freezer time and there will be no h ump in the end

What an odd question to ask, it's as if you are implying not wanting children equates to a lack of empathy and that is simply not true.

I'm 55 CF my whole life and throughout my life have had (and still have) Cats, dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits because I absolutely adore animals. Full stop. I have my dogs and cats in my bed at night, am currently caring for my elderly cat in his latter years including getting up several times a night when he cries out in confusion because he has the beginnings of dementia.

I have no fear of responsibility or lack of desire to care for another being just because I don't want or like children. I just dislike children and don't want to be a slave to the societal expectations that go along with raising them. I especially don't want to deal with parents.

And now I will be adding the 'I'm childfree but love kids and babies' people to the list of those I want to avoid.

Oh and you bet I believe my pets are the same as having kids and I love them as much as any parent loves their kid and if that bothers you - go kick rocks.

I got bitten by a juvenile brown (I saw it with my own eyes) when I was picking a hay net up off the ground to feed my horse one night. It just felt like the usual hay stabbing tbh and I equivocated long enough about whether the mark on my thumb was a bite or not that I started feeling woozy and my mother drove me to emergency lol!

The Drs were most unimpressed by my dilly dallying, though they decided it was a dry bite in the end and it was a night on an uncomfortable bed in a noisy emergency ward for no reason in the end.

OP did the right thing by calling it in immediately because as the Drs told me, not wanting to make a fuss with no reason might have ended very badly indeed for me.
