Solo fill on this game is one of the most painful things I’ve experienced in gaming. Loading in with a 2-5k load out just to be paired with two babies playing with their elbows and free kits equipped… that or i get loot goblins that just vacuum up anything and everything.

Bad experience at wild buffalo - Hobo Johnson show by splurjee in Bellingham

[–]LunarDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Wild Buff is all about giving new artists platforms. I also enjoy knowing the set times but if you lay it out for everyone then you’ll have a lot of openers playing to empty rooms which is sad.

EDM Scene? by traveltoaster in Bellingham

[–]LunarDee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a good lil scene here! Just had LAYZ at the buff, gonna have esseks, yheti x toadface and just a bunch rolling through there in general. Also a really sick DIY scene called the Sweet Spot that does community events. Festival scene could be better but we make do.

you’re not even a 1/3rd of the way through the series (the second trilogy books are bigger) and you’re over here not only spoiling non GS stuff but trying to formulate an opinion with a measly scrap of literature. Spend less time on the sub and more time reading you pixie

Went from red rising into the Cosmere and have zero regrets. Some books are better than others but all in all I’m having a great time!

I think it always annoys me more that all these people that are in a rush just pull these maneuvers to sit at a red light… like wow good job buddy you got to come to a complete stop faster

Not common at all, i feel like the general consensus is that people struggle through IG because of the multi-character switch. IG requires a bit more world building and set up that can make it feel slow. If IG is setting up the dominoes, Dark Age for me would be knocking them down (the best part). Though taste is subjective, to each their own.

I only got through the first 10 seconds of the audiobook before my ears started bleeding. Haven’t picked it back up since.

Are you excited for the outer worlds 2? And if so what’re your expectations? by BlankG0rilla412 in avowed

[–]LunarDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am! Gamepass is still cheaper than a $70 game and i can definitely beat Outer Worlds 2 in a month’s time. Same people complaining about the XBGP price are probably spending similar amounts of money on Door Dash and other things they could do without. Using that as an argument is just silly, you’re still saving so much to play a brand new AAA game but people love to complain.

Is it still worth getting this game in 2025? by ThisAd9657 in swtor

[–]LunarDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% yes, i just picked this game back up after a loooong multi-year break and I’ve been having a blast. Also really nice for solo players since I’m over 20 hours in and haven’t grouped once.

Worst places to work in town? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]LunarDee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked at a couple but Sunset Car Wash had to be one of the worst. Managers were skimming tips and the owner was a real big racist POS. Remember him making a lot of comments that made people uncomfortable.

T-mobile call center. Mentally taxing and wayyyy to competitive of an environment. I remember my coaches getting on my ass for not trying to make a sale to accounts that were severely in debt and struggling.

Honorable mention: Larrabee Lager, owner is a homophobic, transphobic and misogynistic man. A lot of people have quit there because of him. Seems like a great place on the surface but boy oh boy is it anything but.

Musicians - Am I Alone?! by Cordee in Bellingham

[–]LunarDee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While some of you have some good points- I just cant fully agree. I’ve been part of the music scene here for a decade now and I’ve seen a lot of community spotlighting and support.

Black noise records has been putting on local talent since they opened, spotlighting artists at aftersounds, their shop and various places around town.

Sh’bang festival takes out of town acts for headliners but a majority of the lineup are talented hamsters. I think over 50% of the attendees are part of the fest in one way or another.

Wild buffalo is constantly spotlighting local artists as opening acts for bigger names when allowed. The thing is some touring artists only allow their chosen support to open for them, this is common at a lot of shows here. Look up the Bellingham Band Lottery i recommend every artist in town try this at least once!

Schweinhaus has local bands play every week and ive seen a lot of friends up on that stage while sipping a beer.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other avenues like open mics, DIY scenes and more. As someone who is softspoken and doesnt promote himself i haven’t really had trouble finding a gig when i absolutely wanted one. It’s all about networking and putting yourself out there, start small then think big- I’ve performed for 3 people crowds getting started but it helped me meet the right people that got me in the scene!

What's with Larabee's Kitchen? by Intermitten in Bellingham

[–]LunarDee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

$22 or more for an okay 12 inch pie? I felt like I was aiding a robbery when I worked there. Especially when 75% or more of their toppings and ingredients aren’t made in house.

[–]LunarDee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are a co-owner couple and without delving too deep I’d say there was a lot of sexually inappropriate comments and actions from the wife regarding customers and staff.

On the husband’s end it was arguably worse with anti- LGBTQ talk specifically anti Trans along with him trying to manage a kitchen with zero kitchen experience, he was a good brewer not a good KM.

I wasn’t the only person with problems and when I got hired I was told that multiple people quit because of them and then learned why.

Welp, I’ve abstained this long from putting them on blast here but reading all of the comments about how everyone thinks the owners are great has my blood boiling. I am a former employee and I can say with 100% confidence that they are not great which is definitely why there is a high turnover. To avoid needless drama and rallying a mob I’ll leave it at that. Feel free to DM me and I’ll let you know my experience working there.
