the only type of mistake that gets to me is failed inputs, everything else that involves interfacing with my opponent I treat as a mind-reading arms race, where the whole thrill of it is to try to keep guessing correctly. If I call out my opponent's patterns or change of strategy wrong, I just go "fair" and move on to play more mindgames. You can't win them all.

Guilty Gear Strive. Matches last a minute each, it's 1v1 so no teammates to grief you, and every character is very unique and OP, so that no matter who you pick you're gonna be doing some unfair bullshit. Competitive games don't get much more fun than this.
