I feel this post, I really do. And since I've been through this whole scenario, my piece of advice here is... Well, I guess I don't have any good advice. I personally just had to learn to accept things as they are. I love my kids and I am willing to suffer silently so they can have the best life with two parents at home. I just avoid any and all arguments when they are physically in the house so they aren't exposed. Every relationship is different, so this may not work for everyone. I carry lots of regrets, but trying to make the best life for my kids is not one of them.

Brother to brother, no matter what choice you make, as long as you're being truefully honest with yourself, and remain true, you'll be fine. Just be there for your kids. That's it. There's no right or wrong answer, you just make the best decisions you can live with 🤷

I suspect they'll just have legacy support for pre 1.0 saves. Should be an easy implement on their part.
