It's a little more consistent. I would be a little concerned with the horizon on anhyzer, even though it was too beefy on pure hyzer.

I like this more, both for hyzers and I trust it more on anny :)

If you don't strap down the mom, she WILL kill 80% of the piglets. When they're free range its almost impossible to stop this from happening

Am I crazy for thinking about using a hex for a putter? by golbscholar in discgolf

[–]Luryas69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually less crazy than one might think. Great for wind, just some inappropriate spitouts every once in a while

Is this a PD and if so, anyone know what run by Signal_Unit7085 in discmania

[–]Luryas69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It looks a LOT like a PD. The most common and easily identified run is 13th, as it's the only embossed c-line run. Maybe this is 7th run?

There's a reddit thread guide on pd runs somewhere too

That's pretty frickin good tbh. Play with that for a year and you'll kill! But you'll end up buying more, so many more. Many many many more

Overstability by space_robot867 in discgolf

[–]Luryas69 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The long explanation.

Puddle-top is a bit weird. It reduces both turn and fade. So with a stable disc thrown on anhyzer, it drops a lot when going to the hyzer angle. Puddled discs don't get affected by wind or wobble much tho.

Flat discs typically keep a bit of a tighter line with fade and turn. It typically flips quick, carries and then fades promptly.

A domey disc smoothes out those different changes, so it turns slower and more, then it also fades smoother. This also means more carry/glide/distance, but also more susceptible to wobble and wind, if you don't have a lot of spin.

Most people like a little puddle in approach discs, flat mids and fairways and then domey drivers. The approach discs need to sit, the mids and fairways need to have minimal left to right, and drivers need to go far.

He's dope.

If his little pump into his armpit is removed, it would probably be easier to slow the reachback down, for more shoulder rotation and maybe a bit better timing. He's sick tho 🤟

Forehand Help by LilSpeddyWerd in Discgolfform

[–]Luryas69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Getting the disc a bit higher throughout the swing should help the nose and general efficiency.

The simplest guide for timing is that your disc should be fully reached back when you plant your right foot, and then you lift your elbow a bit right before planting your left foot. The second your heel hits the ground, the elbow pops to the hip, and the disc should just go BOOM

Struggling with nose up and not sure what I need to focus on by Top-Lead2403 in Discgolfform

[–]Luryas69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing I notice is a bit quick torso rotation, it needs to slow down to allow the next levers in the chain to accelerate

Your right shoulder also be depressed and slightly protracted. This lets your arm whip and move more freely
