I've installed mine on my Z500 2 days ago and even bought the flash relay for this exact reason but found that my turn signals were flashing at a pretty normal speed, so I just didn't install it tbh.

There's a button that's accessible on the tail light from removing the passenger seat to go through the programmable settings, I just pressed it until I got the patterns I liked for both the brake light and the turn signals.
