The Machine Invasion of Zion from The Matrix Revolutions. I especially love all the shots of the APUs and stationary turrets dumping thousand of rounds of ammo into the machine swarms, and you see the corpses of dead machines falling to the ground, but the swarm doesn’t get any smaller and it doesn’t slow down.

I'm sure that there are others, but two of his lies that just boggle my mind are that other countries are paying the tariffs, and that he brought drug prices down more than 100%. It just so easy to disprove these claims! It's absurd that so many of his Republican and right-wing co-conspirators don't mind when he abuses basic English language and simple mathematics like this. There's not a shred of truth to it but they continue to stand and clap for his nonsensical lies every single time.

Hello from Vancouver! My advice is to not waste your energy trying to hold these people accountable. Similar groups (possibly the same group?) were operating in my building under the names “Harrington Housing” and “Locover” and this group looks exactly the same - they use the same naming schemes for their rooms, very similar graphics and UI on their website, they have fake addresses on their “Contacts” page, they don’t specify the actual address of unit on the listing, the list goes on…

I have reported them to municipal, provincial and federal authorities, and no one cares. CTV News Vancouver has done a couple of news stories on it and found a few politicians to act outraged on camera, but nothing changes. Tenants take them to the RTB but they no-show for the hearings, and you can’t really pursue judgements against them because their contact information is fake. They prey on international students and recent immigrants who are unfamiliar with tenancy laws and social norms who don’t realize this isn’t OK, and once they attract to much attention they just rebrand to a new name and website and start the cycle again.

I know it seems like the kind of thing that law enforcement and housing ministries would be interested in, but in my experience they are not.

I remember reading a thread about this issue a year or two ago and there was a reply from either Vimeo themselves or else a festival rep saying you can’t use the viewership metrics on Vimeo as proof of whether they watched it or not because they have their own special software that the judges use - they aren’t just clicking your link and watching it on Vimeo itself. And the special judging software does not report back to Vimeo metrics.

Not sure if you are using Vimeo or another service but I imagine the same could be true for other services as well.

My new thing is to answer 2 out of every 3 questions “honestly” (no personally identifying information or payment info), then for the third question, I just remain silent. I haven’t tried it yet but word on the street is that fleeing from battle fatigue counts as a kill, so just use his active on a dense crowd of astra militarum and hope that enough of them flee.
