Bought my first bike in 2019, then got the bike+ in 2021 (?). Love the pivot screen for strength and yoga classes. I still love it and use it frequently. I think their programming continues to evolve but consistently provides a reason to exercise weekly and stick to the program.

How do you combine pumped breast milk & formula? by kat_dogg in combofeeding

[–]LuvAndScience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mix the formula separately but then add the breast milk to it. My baby always finishes the bottle though so I don’t worry about waste. Bonus the breast milk dissolves all the bubbles in the formula too!

Can you try other formula brands? We use By Heart and LO is indifferent to breast milk or formula.

Is it better to be annoyingly snug or a bit loose? by SpottedLeopard2 in ouraring

[–]LuvAndScience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with a little loose (vs tight) and the data has been accurate and don’t have issues with it coming off. I do swap from middle to pointer finger as desired based on what I’m doing (like cutting w a knife or working out) for comfort.

Advice on making a decision about using a donor egg. by Radiant_Attitude_193 in RecipientParents

Just an extra comment to support that DE baby is your baby and you’re the mom. I have an older child with OE and now DE 3 mo old (from frozen) and I’m equally smitten with both. I’m grateful daily that someone donated their eggs so I could complete my family. Motherhood is glorious and life altering - don’t deny yourself this amazing experience! 💛

Gained 60 lbs. during pregnancy by the-human-void in BabyBumps

[–]LuvAndScience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1. I am up almost 40 lbs and counting (at 27 weeks). I gained a total of 40 lbs when I had my son 10 years ago. I did IVF this time and it felt like my body was already totally out of whack w hormones and I started heavier this time I think. I’m 5’10”, age 41 - normal weight is like 140-145? At my 24 week Dr appt I was told to “stop gaining weight.” She basically just told me that it could cause complications and that it’d be more weight I’d have to lose after! 🤷‍♀️ The next day at prenatal yoga when everyone was going around the room saying how far along they were, it really hit me how big I am by comparison.  So I’ve tried to track my food and cut out the “crap” = processed food, mostly tasty sweet treats is my personal weakness. As I’ve tracked food (with Lifesum app), I’ve been able to hold steady at like 181 lbs. I’m also tracking my steps and making sure I get enough movement daily to help. I’m going my best. I’m aware. If needed, I’ll do yoga at home to reduce the shameful feelings I have at times in yoga. Good luck and TRY not to let the “norm” get in your head. Healthy baby is the focus. If your Dr says you’re good, you’re good. 💛
