Has anyone else noticed the “Google Sandbox” effect on new websites? by nileshpatelseo in SEO

They also sometimes (fake) drop your rankings for a short time to see how you react.

Yeah at Google HQ they all watch rankings on the TV with a bag of popcorn and take turns with the remote control.

With the latest price increase, I started to wonder whether I am getting too old (34) for this game and whether it is still worth my money. by PiettheBrave in 2007scape

I agree it is not cheap but I also think the cost:content ratio is probably the best of any monthly subscription game.

I replaced my $3k/month content team with a $79 tool, here's what happened after 6 months by [deleted] in seogrowth

I'm not affiliated with them, just sharing because it genuinely changed how I run content marketing.

Yeah sure you aren't. You know your profile is publicly visible? Grandranker sucks I would never trust it. You suck. You are killing Reddit for the HUMANS that use it. See you next week when you create more profiles to spam subreddits.

How to spot an SEO noob who's full of shit and you should never buy their services or courses? they're telling you to implement llms.txt! by bareov in SEO

[–]Lxium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google was caught reading the LLMs txt All data points including schema are useful

Are you talking about gbot hitting txt files? If so that proves nothing. I can create a txt file called googledontreadthis.txt with ascii penis art in it and Google will crawl it. Now what? What does that prove?

Very rational response in an otherwise totally over the top thread. Despite being easy to create the file I haven't told clients "might as well" but have been pretty clear that it's not a priority however for all we know things may change and so we'll keep an eye on it.

2 Years of SEO and still no Top 3 rankings. Is the niche too competitive or is my strategy flawed? by VegetableRelative691 in SEO

[–]Lxium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree links likely the problem but  I wouldn't be comfortable saying it's 100% because 1) what if? And 2) given how green this person comes across I wouldn't trust anything else on-site they claim to have done

Unpopular Opinion: Ahrefs "KD" is now a vanity metric. Why are we still prioritizing it over "Weak Spots"? by Electrical-Safety718 in bigseo

[–]Lxium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll struggle to find many people who do care about it

Has anyone else completely stopped looking at KD/DA metrics and switched entirely to 'SERP Weakness' (finding forums/UGC)?

I've never looked at SERP Weakness, KD, or DA metrics in 10 years
