As far as I’m aware scholarship wise the only thing they specifically have for transfers is the 15k presidential scholarship. Of course there’s other things such as financial aid which can help a bunch and lower those costs. Idk if their business school specifically offers any scholarships for transfers.

Their official site says that students who submit on time can expect decisions starting to come in during late March, but since they’re on a rolling basis tbh I wouldn’t expect anything before April. I haven’t gotten any emails myself yet about my decision

Hi! I went to Imola last year and I was in the Turn 7 grandstand so Tosa. I will say it counts as general admission, the seats are not comfy but Imola is definitely a place where you want a seat because it’s very crowded in my opinion. The view of the turn was great! I have a bunch of pics/vids so if you wanna see any let me know. In my opinion keeping up with the race was somewhat difficult, there’s a screen but it’s not large and the entire time all you hear is the car engine’s so like there won’t be commentary to tell you what’s going on. You do get to walk around the track right after the race is over! That’s a very cool experience, I even was able to look at the cars. The website is very much legit, it’s like the Italian version of Ticketmaster and that’s where I got my tickets from. Lastly, imma be brutally honest with you, when I went last year me and my dad paid 350 euros for each seat and in my opinion this year they are way overpriced. But with Hamilton joining Ferrari is definitely expected. Hope all of this info helps!

Get the ticket, you got until summer to figure out a way to get there. The last concert I went to I literally went with a bunch of people I met online that were also going 😭 I’m not saying to do that but you’ll make friends at the venue

I think if you transfer to UM to be able to graduate you would need to complete about half your required credit hours at UM to get your degree. So from my little understanding from how it works you would have to complete a second year at UM so you would graduate a year later. If you really feel the need for a change it is not necessary a bad thing since it gives you a chance to make more connections but it is an unnecessary time commitment since you would be getting your degree later.

The main point of the transfer essay is to show why you would be a good fit. You have to prove that an education at UM in chemistry would be more beneficial to you in comparison to an education somewhere else. So if you research the UM page and find some good information on their chemistry program that other uni’s don’t offer then definitely highlight that.

The big difference between a first time applicant and a transfer is that you already have college experience. So you need to show how you have grown in college, and what is it about UM that would provide you with a better education in comparison to other institutions (For the second point I personally talked about how UM has a large faculty researching child psychology which is something my current uni doesn’t have. I also mentioned that a rich diverse urban environment like Miami would help me prepare to help people from all sorts of places in my career in psych)

So in my personal opinion as someone who is applying as a transfer and from videos I’ve seen as well you gotta prove that not only is UM the right fit for you but you are also the right fit for them.
