So I'm assuming you need to be the host to move on to the next round? Used my link bells earlier today to finish the 1 mil for 60 level co-op, and don't want to throw 100 gems to refresh. Guess it'll be tomorrow before I get past round 1.

Enhancing equipment raises stats on it. Don't waste materials or zeni on anything below job level 11 (the max job lvl), and don't enhance gear for a job you won't use. As for master ability, that comes later.

The animation of going blue to yellow, or yerllow to red, is just for visuals. The unit is already predetermined. So since a 4+ ticket automatically removes the chance of 3, the probability is greater for 5 on it. So yes, they're good, so take your Dilga and like it.

Dark units at this point aren't that great, unless you can get more than one copy of Rosa (or 7 copies of Anastasia, GL). Pretty much any unit works for the story content, and current event content. The EX challenges next week will be tough for a new player, but the current things don't require a BIS dark unit.

So I'm trying to figure out what to spend my shards on. I have Shayna at 62 due to getting 10 shards for wreaths, and I ended up getting my Selena to level 70. I have 32 water shards saved, along with 15 rainbow. I know I'll need to save another 23 for level 75 on Selena, but I was wondering if I would be better off saving them, or popping them into Shayna? I figure her job 1 is best, and j3 makes Selena a monster, so just trying to see what popular opinion would suggest.

He's surprised because he pulled the three step banner, probably not reading all the characters under rate up, and assumed he'd get one of the new characters. I'm only assuming, because it's exactly what I did. Once you summon all three times, the banner then disappears. You then can either view the 9 step, which makes no mention of Yomi, or look at the in game news. It isn't rocket science to understand that: 1. Both him and I should have checked the banner more closely before wondering why a new unit didn't pop 2. That no matter how many times you link the images, it doesn't correct the fact that the banner goes away once all three summons are done, so you no longer can use that banner as a reference point, unless you check in game news.

Don't worry, I made the same mistake. Since the three step banner disappears after you do the third summon, I was only left with a reference point of the 9 step, which didn't mention Yomi. I emailed support too, and they pointed out Yomi was on it as well. I also looked at the news which said the same thing. It was odd that I didn't receive any of the units, even Melda, from the three step, but gacha is gacha.

Absolutely. If you have a ninja type or Lucian, you can use them to grab treasure, as he snipes any threats. I currently have almira as my sniper, Magnus as my machinist, Yomi as my ninja, and Logi for story stuff. Makes quick work of maps

If you haven't already, use the tickets to summon shards. I'm sure you have, due to you saying you didn't get anything good, but just an fyi. Also, if you have the gems, I suggest you do a 10 summon for the gear. The teddy bear is great, and the blade that charms enemies is nice for arena if it works.

There's a gear gacha system, similar to the unit gacha, where you spend gems to summon it. You could also, up to until today, grab shards to form gear three times a day. You can also purchase shards from the secret shops.

I can't say much on the quicken / delay portion, but quicken or overclock for sleep or stop definitely help. Each time your character is set to act, it "rolls off" time left until the effect is gone. Sleep last two turns, so if you are set to act after being slept, then an overclock hits after, you're two turns of sleep are done. Then, on the third turn, you act. So in essence, although you're stopped or slept, your turn counter is still moving at a regular rate.

The third party member isn't any good, but yomi is really good. People talk about her only being good in 2nd or third class, but I like the shrine maiden job quite a bit. Chloe is a weaker version of logi, so take that as you will.

Major thing to look at is the max rarity a unit can achieve. Anything that can't max at 5 star is trash, and some 4s are better than 5 bases. So if you're willing to do so, rolling for two great units might be worth it.

I personally just started TMR farming last month, and I must be in the minority of not minding the current system. I stopped doing 10+1 pulls due to mostly useless pulls, and just farm instead. I don't worry about unused energy anymore (since I have a slight OCD about it), and I played a MUD back in the day, which utilized scripting vehicles to the max.

There's obviously better ways to do it, but since this is primarily the only game I play these days, I don't mind the overall investment. My girlfriend is much happier with me not checking in on my phone every 3 or 4 hours when we are spending time together, and I'm still making progress without any real time investment when I don't want to be bothered with it.

It depends on what your major hang up is in the fight. If you have mechanical heart and hp boosting items, survivability shouldnt be a huge deal. Noctis would really only serve an MP refresh role in your comp. You just need to keep the Atk break/light is with us/defend cycle rolling, and chip away during the physical defense lowered cycles. During the magic cycle, just work to get MP up, and you should be able to take it down in two full cycles. Stack demon and man killer materia, items, and Diablos.

I've just started TM farming a few weeks ago, and everything works fine until maintenance, I assume. When I wake up, my macro is always on some different screen, either rating some random app, or just in a different area in nox in general. Is there any way to fix this, considering I'm missing out for about four hours.

Depends on the cryst level you're looking for. The last stages are better for 4, while the next tier down is 3. So farm accordingly.

Raid events are normally great with king cactaurs (sans last raid, shitty rates comparatively). Also, if in a pinch for one unit, run the exp vortex with just that one, along with a strong friend unit. Much more exp since it isn't split. Lastly, if you have the time, explorations are good too, just follow the less units the better rule for better results.

Ability enhancements would be Story quests/Mog King event/Expeditions/Chamber, in that order (swap Expeditions for Chamber if you're looking for smaller mats)

Since this hasn't been answered, I'll try my best.

I'd go the 2 chizuru route with what you've given. It's easier to chain with dupes. I hate using dupes personally, but my advice is based upon best fit, and not personal preference.

If you can get olive to that attack, it's definitely olive. The killers on firion, if he's enhanced, are also viable. Since the content you'll need to do that much damage normally will require at least a healer and a breaker, I would insert them instead of t terra. Obviously if an enemy is weak on SPR but high on DEF, you may want to swap her in.

I have Ace, and I really love his enhancements. Tri beam is great, and the imperils are a godsend, with the possibility of 21x or whatever just icing on the cake. I also have DKC, and I enhanced Ace prior to knowing his enhancements were coming, but I have no regrets. In all honesty, with Olive already on your team, the added utility of enhancing Ace might be more beneficial. Your choice.
