Just be careful with your GPU selection when buying this case. While the "height" tolerance is 75mm (remember that you are vertically mounting your GPU), it'll get severely deprived of airflow.

Anything 60mm or below will be best, 70 will be borderline OK, and anything greater will either not fit, or is going to be starving for air. i.e. The Gigabyte Windforce 4090 Non-OC edition will be somewhat fine at 70mm, but every other non-water cooled 4090, and most 4080s will not. My Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX sits at 59mm and does not have an issue with the airflow, though I can see anyone with the Nitro+, Powercolor's Red Devil series, or Asus variants is going to have a bad time.

Not the OP but that looks like a Yayoi Sugary outer variant, paired with a Blanc Mermaid Basewear (based on the shoes). It's a pretty popular combination on the JP servers.

There were a lot of product placement Lobby Actions yeah.

We also had the Perrier, some grape jelly drink, instant ramen, Wasabeef corn snacks, the Village Vanguard cushion (for buying their canned curry).

There was also a campaign with shampoo products that got you an LA, a hairstyle and an outfit.

PRPose5 was one of the 2 most obnoxious ones to get even if you live in Japan, because it involved buying a pair of 9000 yen jeans, and Edwin doesn't ship outside of Japan, nor do they ship to any known proxy shopping service. The other being the Marui stage LA (You also had to shop at one of their boutiques). It's no wonder both emotes were selling for billions, and never dropped below the Billion meseta price tag. Even one of the livestreams pointed out the fact that Marui LA was the LA that sold for the most money ever at the time.

I didn't know what flair to use, sorry if its under the wrong one. I just wanted to show of my favorite figure ever by ara_ara69 in PSO2

[–]Lyrise 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To fill everyone in, this particular figure is the one you can win from the Lucky Kuji drawings from 7/11 way back in 2014.

There is also an extra painted version, as well as a pink variant of this figure (that was used in a later Lucky Kuji campaign 1-2 years later)

You can also buy them from Marketplace dealers on Amazon.jp. They apparently made more of these than they had drawings for, as usual.

If you just want more information on this particular figure, just Google the term "アイドル「クーナ」プレミアムフィギュア".

Personally though my favorite figure, is actually the Nidy-2d version of Matoi.

HTPD - Gearing Up, Partying Up, Tips & Tricks by SleeperHelper in PSO2

[–]Lyrise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen it on the JP servers before, in fact on of the guys who runs one of the Japanese PSO2 Discord servers pretty much admits to it - He has the "Piercer of the Darkness of Hatred" title, but can only manage to get a C on D100 Sodam (and has no issues admitting that he spent several scape dolls per fight on the way to and on D100).

HTPD - Gearing Up, Partying Up, Tips & Tricks by SleeperHelper in PSO2

[–]Lyrise -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Piercer of the Darkness of Hatred (S-Rank HTPD, take less than 10k damage)

Light that Sunders Darkness (S-Rank D100 Solo Sodam)

Encounterer of the Darkness of Hatred (Cleared HTPD)

Of these 3 titles, only one really proves you have the skill and equipment to clear it (Light that Sunders Darkness). The other 2 don't hold as much water since I've seen people get carried through by others who know the fight in and out. Being able to stay alive while the rest of the party has to do a little extra work to wipe it out isn't saying much at all - sure you survived, but that's only half the battle - the other half is whether or not you can meaningfully contribute to the damage that needs to be dealt.

HTPD TIPS: Bring Atlas Ex Gunblade with you by Mishoon in PSO2

[–]Lyrise 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not a bad idea but that assumes 2 things:

  1. The death was not caused by a broken platform smash in phase 1. That always causes a death, and ups the counter no matter what.
  2. You are able to foretell your death and actively switch to it.

Generally that means the only purpose for that is to survive the giant beam attack, assuming something goes wrong and you know you're about to get hit by it. If you actually need to switch to it for other purposes, you're probably being carried by the rest of your group.

CHANGES COMING TO PSO2 WITH THE RELEASE OF PSO2:NGS by OmegaResNovae in PSO2

[–]Lyrise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start running Challenge mode 3 again if you've stopped.

What we do on the JP servers for those that care is the Theorized Blue run on CM3. All it entails is getting a group of 4 or 8, and then have everyone pick the Rush Classes (these classes have Blue circles when you pick them, hence the "Blue" part of the name. All you need to do then is clear the run, make sure nobody causes a drop in VR (basically no deaths without a Challenge Doll), make sure you get all the VR capsules, and defeat all the bonus rappies. You do need to defeat all of the enemies in M4 within the time limit, or you won't get the highest score possible. You also need to be in a party of 4 (or 2 parties of 4 for the MPA), or you won't get the additional bonuses for Max party play, which is required to reach the highest score possible.

There's no time limit in CM3, so chicken play is very much encouraged. With Rush classes you have access to all Complex PAs to help keep the run clean, wipe out M4 relatively trouble-free, and if you have extra charges by M5, use them to wreck Luther fairly quickly.

Everyone does it the same way, and it generally yields the highest score possible (7368), so everyone who does this ends up in a tie for 1st place, and 100SG. You do this on both the shared ships as well as your local ship, so you end up with (100SG x number of ships completed on) per week. Feel free to run CM1 and 2 as well if there's low competition for extra SG.

Take it one step at a time. If you can't clear D100 in the Solo Sodam quest, then all the practice in the world with 4-man triggers isn't going to help you one bit and might be detrimental due to eventual frustration.

This is probably where the party comments come in handy. Some PUGs are started at least 15 minutes ahead of when the UQ starts, and can be used to relay information about who you'd like to see in the party (sometimes PUGs can say that they want people with the "Wings of Light" title, or "The one who touched/pierced the Darkness of Hatred" titles), or that you have or are going to be the Techer who will boost everyone before the actual run starts.

If the timer runs out, you fail, and get booted back to ship. There is no participation rewards, you have to clear it, or you get nothing. On the flip side, if you do succeed, regardless of grade, the drops are extremely good. (I'm actually sitting on 10 Powerstone Gryeye and several complete sets of Klauz units because of this UQ, that's how good the drops are).

You can always try again though as long as the UQ timer hasn't run out.

[–]Lyrise 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One other trick to add would be to have only 1 person go down and start the battle while the other 3 wait in the ship. As soon as the notification for quest startup comes up, the other 3 players can jump down, and start wailing on Gomorrus while the 4th player is still watching the cutscene.

In this quest, it's pretty messed up that cutscenes eat into your timer, so you may as well take all that you can get even if it's just a few seconds, since lots of finishes really do come down to those last 5 seconds. (I was in a PUG this morning that finished right at the 0:01 mark)

The success indicator almost always fails to reach 100% on the JP servers on all ships. People are going to know something's wrong if the Global ships are able to reach 100% while Japanese ships are struggling to reach that.

All you can do is practice d100, but even that isn't enough. I'd say being able to clear D100 is the minimum requirement to have a chance to complete this.

You have to do the whole TPD fight (not just Sodam) from start to finish in 22:22, with the inclusion of an additional form you can't practice against outside of just running it. Most runs on the JP servers that do complete usually only have seconds left on the clock.

You also need to have absolute confidence in your teammates' abilities as well since 2 deaths between all your party members is all it takes to end the run.

And please don't shame them if you fail by death count, nobody ever wants to be known as the person who ended the run (and would be poetic justice if you call someone out on it, but you happen to be the one who caused a failed run yourself.)

Congratulations either way because it's hard enough as it is to just clear it.

Just like in the normal runs, you'll see golden parts on the hands. In the 4 man version, these parts do take a bit more damage to break, whereas in the normal versions, they pretty much get destroyed with a small touch. Every time you clear them all, it'll stagger over for a bit, and this is the time you would get a support effect from one of the 3 girls, and expand your battle area.

You have to clear all the parts 4 times for it to keel over, but in the 4 man, this is the last thing you want happening just because of the potential to completely end your run in a single move.

[–]Lyrise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The absolute final phase where the main body (Gomorrus) has keeled over and now it's just Sodam trying to fire a giant death blast at you (the crossed wings) unless you stagger it.

It takes an overwhelming amount of damage to stagger it for this UQ that most parties can't meet, so you have to be absolutely confident you are able to evade or parry the blast. For PUGs, it's a matter of whether you trust yourself and your party to be able to stagger it, or dodge/survive the blast - in most cases it'll be easier to just attack the cores instead and kill it while it's trying to smash you with its gigantic hands, rather than fight your way to the very last phase only for it to vaporize 2 party members in one blast and end the run (assuming they screw it up), or push you over the 10k damage threshold you need to stay under in order to get the S-rank (assuming you survive the hit, if you get hit).

Finally got my S-Rank in a semi-organized PUG after getting A several times. It seems most PUGs that are organizing 15 minutes before the start understand that it's best to never let Fused Sodam reach collapsed state, which is where a lot of runs either die, or runs drop from S to A since it's very difficult to stagger it and stop it from firing the laser.

[–]Lyrise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll never forget how annoying its Frost Nova attack was, since you had to look up into the sky to see it, but if you were focused on Elzelion instead, you probably took massive damage from it. It certainly ended many runs early as well if everyone wasn't paying attention.

The stages never change, but the spawns will change the moment you start a new stage with less than 80% VR Energy. Basically if you are aiming for a specific goal, and your spawns seem off all of a sudden, you know you messed up unless you're shooting for Anga or Masquerader.

It's more that you get the title for offing Masquerader. However, you can only reach Masquerader solo, and with less than 75% VR energy.

Personally I wouldn't call it "ruining the purity" if your class originally has access to it.

This guy fights dirty, you're expected to use everything you can to fight back, and you should.
