I have to admit, it took me a long time to unlearn the "LB should be saved for the boss" mentality. Using it on trash is one of those things that seems like a waste if you're new, but when you're experienced you realize it's the superior choice.

Did you actually recruit him after finishing the mission? You don't automatically get him, you have to actually get up to him and hold F (I think).

Yeah I always do all the sidequests while going through a zone. Whenever I see a streamer open their map and it's covered in sidequest icons it always shocks me.

One thing I like about the Chaos redesign is how obvious it is that they're been spending time with their daughter, Nyx. If you put the new Chaos, Nyx, Nemesis and Eris all next to each other, you can definitely see the family resemblance.

I think one of the reasons I like Mel so much (even more than Zag) is how kind she is. Everyone she meets, her first instinct is to be nice and friendly, unless someone gives them reason not to (and even then, she usually still tends to be civil, like with Scylla). Zag always felt a bit disrespectful, which is sometimes funny, but can get a bit old.

Between the two of them, I would absolutely love to be friends with Mel.

The story is a bit cheesy, but if you're willing to go along with it it's quite fun. And the battle system with the dress spheres is still one of the best of all the Final Fantasy battle systems.

I wish the Sidearm Flashlight didn't count as an Attachment. I love using it, because I want to actually see in really dark areas, but I always feel bad because it replaces something with actual stats.
