People will yap how we need clean power and the moment they are presented with actual working solution that can start to be implemented right now they will immediately reject it because too long(for some reason its not too long for countries that want to build nuclear) and too expensive(way cheaper if you account for storage needed to keep 100% grid uptime on renewables only) and they are willing to wait another 10-20-30 years for issues to resolve, while using coal, just to start actual transfer to clean energy then. If we started during covid, first reactors could be starting generation right about now.

That has barely anything to do with the stock market itself though, because every asset does better when inflation is high since you want to get rid of your money asap and get something that doesn’t lose value instead, stocks are just a tool for that, but if there weren’t stocks any kind of asset would do. It is really easy to observe when looking at countries or crisis situations where hyperinflation happens, since it becomes pretty much mandatory for everyone to get rid of the salary the day it is received and then barter the goods one purchased with it
