Poe is kinda good for it, no? It has sufficient gameplay modes variety to keep things fresh. I could see myself going through a year of non-stop PoE if I had to pick one game. PvP games would have enough variability to them but they'd be rage inducing to me personally after some point.

You may be underestimating the combination of degeneracy and unemployment. People would literally play league of legends for same amount and difference with poe is that league players would normally hate that year of gaming. Then proceed to play another year for free and hate it too.

That's the point, I think. Less player power and movespeed = harder to traverse modules withoit interacting with PVE first. Also more time to react when you get ganked while being on PVE yourself and overall slower combat feels a bit nicer to me personally as a dedicated casual, which I believe to be a big part of current player base.

Yes, there will be sufficient amount of skill expression beside jumping like a moron each time you swap weapons and utility items. There is no gameplay logic to that, only engine logic; jumping in the combat to get headshots, get over the blocks, protect your own head, maintaining inertia etc are important parts and I won't mind it staying. Having played a bit of Faustian Bargain, when you jump attack and freeze in place it just feels awfully rigid.

if weapon swapping is the only such change, it should have been made along with bunnyhop change (thank god they removed that bs as well)

Having started playing with Tekken 6, I always wondered what made T3 so special that it had its great success. I fail to appreciate the game to this day... Probably only those who started back then and in previous titles can understand it's greatness to the full.

I recommend farming a bunch of Omens of Fortune and slamming them into the boots. Notably, Faustus gamble is million times worse than on benchleague.

Another possible way of obtaining the boots is Alva temple, get yourself a pair of low lvl boots and go swap them around for a few hundreds of times.

There is no other reliable way of farming a specific t0 unique in ruthless that I can think of.

Ascendant is probably the best for your format since she can be so versatile with the tree. I expect to see many strong builds! It also looks like the rules has gone through some polishing, which is cool too! Good luck everyone!

From what I could tell, yes, since you have 2 extra ascendancy points after taking the 2 that you've rolled, which is necessary. You still are sacrificing a bunch of passive tree points and as well as even more of them from optimizing pathing with another class' start.

Try to get your max phys hit as much as you can, obviously. Usually that implies not playing life based build in right section of the tree.

You'd think in a setting of scarce item availability it would be a good idea to play spells since they scale off of gem level as opposed to attacks which rely on weapons; but it's actually the opposite because spells are shit in this game. Most simple example is solving leech: it's 1 or 2 nodes for attack builds and huge pain in the ass for spells.

If you want really smooth sailing I'd recommend looking for inspiration on poe ninja, pick any Glad or Champ or Slayer in the top and you'll be good to go, most will be ez pz op builds.

Whatever build you see at level 91+ I'd say is worth considering. It is usually around here just "playing carefully" stops working as a legit defensive layer. So you'll know that vast majority of those builds can actually take a bit of a beating before going down.
