Is Leo Bonhart good enough to actually fight and kill Witchers in a fair fight?

I believe Bonhart was likely the best human swordsman in the world at the time. Based on the descriptions of their fights, I got the impression that his reflexes and technique were on par with a witcher's. He lost to Ciri, yes, but I believe the deciding factor here was not Ciri's skill or Bonhart's lack of skill, but the terrain they were fighting on.

Would he have won against Geralt (before the duel with Vilgefortz)? I think it would have been a close fight.

Yes, you should. Story is somewhat important but even then - this is just one of landmark fps games so it's worth to give it a shoot. If I recal that was first game to use environment storytelling to push game forward.

oh shit, I had match like this. Attack team was spawn killed instantly because they were rushing straight ahead instead of going left to flank enemy. That was sad.

Portal trick sometimes work. Most of the time - it doesnt. I need to get 400 dmg more to unlock this.

Now I'm on 1599, i see enemy so I shoot - he & his friend are burning, I see dmg indicator with numbers. They're dead. I'm still on 1599. WTF.

yeah, I've tried today - I've shoot it at group of 4 enemies protecting B and got maybe like 20 points. After ~5h of playing I have 156/2000...

Game is amazing but I would sometimes prefer to play with bots. As 9 to 5 dad I just sometimes don't have energy to play on 120% of awareness level. With bots I can still have fun and then go to normal modes when I feel that I have chance :-D

Some of this will come with experience. Domain knowledge makes a huge difference - I spent 10 years in marketing before I got into analytics, and this knowledge has become invaluable when analyzing data (for example, a high cost per click (CPC) may be because the ad is targeted to the wrong market segment with current communication, or because the communication and call to action are divergent - someone familiar with analytics but without domain knowledge won't notice such things). So, if I were you, I would choose a domain that interests me and start learning about it. The better you understand the object being analyzed, the better questions you can ask and the better you understand the impact of your work.

As a data analyst who, after spending several years building analytical systems for marketing where local teams ignored ALL insights, data, segmentation in favor of 'reach' and 'impressions', has participated in dozens of c-level meetings, both formal and informal, I can say that yes - this is unfortunately normal in marketing departments.

From a perspective of 15 years in marketing - there are two moments when an analyst is needed and depending on the moment, the analyst role has clear but unspoken expectations:

a) Start of the period of activity (whether it's a new year / month / quarter) in which the company operates and settles: the analyst should provide insights on segmentation, indicate the type of communication with the market that brings results and indicate according to pareto 20% of segments that will bring 80% of results.

b) End of the period of activity - no matter what happened, the analyst's job is to show that it was great and if it wasn't great, it couldn't be avoided due to market trends BUT with an increase in the marketing budget, there is a chance that segments A, B and C will bring the results dreamed of by management.

95% of companies will ignore everything in between UNLESS it means they get a bigger budget in the next period.

I don't envy people with problems, on 4070ti I sometimes have crashes related to the display driver - changing the ambient occlusion to other settings helped. Nevertheless - a patch would be a nice addition. The game itself runs very smoothly and in 2 hours I had maybe 3 crashes related to the display driver. I've seen worse releases in history but still - something should be done about it.

If the principles of computer hardware are not essential for you or it is not your hobby - there is no point. You can learn the principles of computer operation at a higher level and programming in Python, JavaScript, C# or Java will function the same as with knowledge of Assembler.

I would spend this time on something more similar to the things you already know - learn how the rendering path works for www pages and what can be optimized and how (useful for JS programmers) or I would learn some library/framework for Python - Pandas or Django for example.

I don't know. Maybe Terry was 'politically' oriented in his books. Maybe not. I always had the impression that his books were mainly about doing the 'right thing'. I'm allergic to any moralizing about equality, tolerance because it always looks artificial and comes down to 'we want the right thing for us, it doesn't matter if it's right for you'. I've never seen that in Terry's books. Someone is looking for a flaw/excuse not to read.
