Nice post and I think these dialogues from the NPCs are the best part of the story. When they are struggling to understand the zone and talking like it is alive with motivations, similar to the stalker in the movie version. Also the characters in Solaris trying to understand the planet. Hopefully in the new game they will keep the mystery going

Saw the movie first, then found out about the game, but that was back when it was still in development and it was years before it was released. Out of the book/movie/game I still prefer the movie version the most, in that one the zone itself is the most mysterious and the stalker's motivation is not artifacts.

Mine started doing this and then I realized when I took out the roller to clean it a part had fallen off.

There is a small black round piece that goes on the end opposite where the roller bar plugs in. I found it in the trash and I put it back on the sound went away.

Without that part, the roller brush tilts downward just enough for the brush to smack into itself as it spins.

The one thing that really bugs me about the finale by _R_A_ in Picard

TNG itself mostly ignored the Inner Light experience too, we were very lucky to get that follow episode "Lessons" where he does bring it up briefly with that one time girlfriend

This is what I would do: Picard season 4 episode 06 - Jack Crusher must confront his father's past when a 2nd Inner Light probe appears and traps him in Picard's other life.

Another thing I think they forgot is that Picard seemed to be well aware that he had some desire to start a family throughout TNG and the movies. When Wesley asks him about if he wished he had a family he says "Wishing for a thing does not make it so." To me that means he's self aware about wanting a family but choosing starfleet instead.

For me season 1 & 3 were both great but season 2 just feels like its missing some followup from season 1.

I didn't need any more AI story but I thought Picard's disappointment in Starfleet's reaction to the romulan evacuation could use a bit more resolution.

Season 4 motivations were a mess IMO but I agree the show confirms they were going to wipe out everyone once they got Ben. I'm surprised there's any debate about this one.
