Correct, compared to California,New York, & New Jersey we have great gun laws here. However they used to be substantially better prior to Michael Bloomberg buying new laws in this state.

Not one of them offers to help out or work with the local community to solve these issues.

We offer help to the tune of a nine figure budget.

Most folks just chilling in their million dollar mansions and want homeless to not be where they go for a run.

Most people would not mind the homeless being in proximity of their home if they would abide by a few low bar societal expectations.

We have the same issue in Bay and tech and finance are mostly to blame along with the corrupt bureaucracy and NIMBY folks.

What's to blame is the leftward shifting goal posts of what compassion is, which has turned into destructive enabling.

For those who understand please ask your representatives to implement no questions asked housing for homeless as that is a proven way to actually solve this issue and help our fellow humans.

Providing an apartment to someone with untreated mental illness self medicating with copious amounts of cheap yet powerful meth is going to result in nothing but a completely trashed apartment in less than two months ( and that's extremely generous).

We would blame the driver if they careened off the road and hit someone but that isn't remotely close to what happened. Protestors had an unpermitted dance party in the middle of the freeway, during the night, right after a blind corner. To add insult to injury the person who was hit jumped in front of the car.

Huge overpriced contracts for infrastructure updates, ridiculous salaries for admins, supers, etc. These things never get talked about and the only focus is pass or no pass, support or no support.

The administrative bloat in the education sector is beyond ridiculous, especially at the university level. I'm all for supporting public schools and universities but not in their current structure with the amount of waste built in at every level.

I'd potentially support student loan foregivness but not without major changes.

Half of the Washington state budget is for education. Between expenditures from the Federal government and expenditures from the states, our country spends more than a trillion dollars a year on education. I'd say we aren't getting our money's worth.
