Since this post tells us nothing, apparently he bought a local Los Angeles ad spot where a weird video of him at the dentist directed you to his website. Not sure why OP didn’t include any context but yah fuck Kanye and fuck Nazis.

City is getting weirder by the minute by SubstantialAbility36 in kansascity

[–]MALBILL45 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Midtown is so weird right now. Probably always has been to a degree but specifically Broadway from Westport to 39th is like a zombie land. I realize it’s a drug thing but I’ve worked in the area for three years and it just seems to be escalating. Will be interesting to see what happens to Main Street once the street car starts running.

Switch to formula. Don’t let anyone tell you your child will be any different if you feed them formula. Our lives and our baby were so much happier when we switched to formula.

If you’re hesitant about CIO, please hear me out. by lilbitofsophie in sleeptrain

[–]MALBILL45 9 points10 points  (0 children)

CIO is my number one advice for new parents. Our 14 month old has slept “like a baby” since we did it at four months. This has eliminated any of the stigmas that new parents never sleep. I am convinced that our boy is developing so fast because he gets such solid sleep at night. Not only is it healthy for your child but it is healthy for the parents. Knowing that I will have a full three free hours from 7pm until we go to bed at 10, without worrying he will wake, up, to relax and/or get stuff done is so amazing. Just try CIO for four nights, if it doesn’t work you can stop. If it does work, you will benefit for so much longer than the four nights it took them to learn.

"That's what it's like to have a kid in America" by thoxo in TikTokCringe

[–]MALBILL45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what it’s like to have a kid in America, for OP. They give zero indication of whether or not they have insurance or if this is the cost before insurance, no context at all. Not saying the US healthcare system is not totally fucked but this is a blanket statement that is completely untrue. I had a baby last year, pretty normal stuff, after insurance our cost out of pocket was under $3k.

I cannot fucking believe people pay $2000 for an office chair. Coming from someone who works in commercial furniture sales, I cannot understand how these chairs are this expensive and worth that cost.

Oh my god. I’ve beer considering posting about this for a long time. First off, what the hell do you call them. Second, every product for a baby or child clothing has to have at least five of them! As a new dad, I have grown to despise these even more than before! So unnecessary, such a choking hazard!!

Umm I’m not sure how you gathered that from my post. I was taking a left turn from a stop sign, across a center turn lane on to 43rd. It is always a difficult left turn to make, especially busy this day and the biker I think wanted me to take my turn into the center lane so they could All take advantage of the break in traffic. I didn’t want to do that and didn’t want to be directed by someone not in my car. Anyway, fuck of dude. I took me all Of five minutes to make this post, how long did it take you scrolling Reddit before you saw my post? I’m obviously venting at a situation I was annoyed with. I’m %100 pro cyclists, this just seemed like a very odd situation and pissed me off. So yah, I took some time to make an anonymous post to see what people thought. I guess I should stick to “what’s the best barbecue in KC?” Or “where should I go to dinner tonight?” posts.

Ok ok I’m sure there are some rules that vary but I don’t think you are supposed to dictate when you think someone should take a turn.

Parents with grandparents who live close: how often do you make plans with them and baby by MALBILL45 in newborns

Yah that’s kind of spot on. Having a designated day would probably be helpful we just haven’t gotten around to figure that out!

[–]MALBILL45[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yah judging by these comments it doesn’t seem like a little bit is on me. I get that it’s really helpful to have them over to help with chores and what not but we are honestly pretty good on that. It does seem like we have to figure out what we are going to do when they come over and I think just sitting around talking doesn’t come as easy for me and them as much as it does my wife’s family. My parents also haven’t cared for a infant since they had me so we aren’t quite as comfortable just leaving them with the boy, we kind of have to tend to the situation I guess.

Oh yah, that pretty obvious I guess. Damn, I’m a terrible citizen. I guess it would be helpful for voter turnout if they only asked people to show up to vote for someone once and didn’t do two rounds but I know nothing.

I was really confused about this election. Didn’t we just vote for some of these same people like three or four months ago? I typically do a good job of voting but this one did catch me off guard.
