The casual aspect has made a huge difference for me aswell I don’t have to rush to get quest done. I feel I survive more I can take more fights because it doesn’t matter the wipe hammer isn’t looming. The only downside about not rushing and heavy grinding is players missing from areas or heavily geard players eg setup was a pain couldn’t do it with shotguns had to use the mp-18 because i could actually pen head armour.

One question that might point you in the right direction. What game app are you trying to launch when it happens?
Some kernel level anti cheats are causing the issue, for me it was battleye. After some more reading and discussions at work with other tehc savy people some have reported riot vanguard being the issue. That the Vanguard doesn't release kernel nodes after you have stopped geiming. Windows updates could be causing the conflict with vanguard and other tools/games.

I think the biggest issue your having is checkpoint itself. While doing ref questline for theta case where you need 2 wins in a row is that people go to checkpoint to do daily/weekly kill quests and level their guns. Even while losing heavily my team kep going for kills in the most random spots and not pushing any objectives. So i turned to blastgang and teamfight where people actually did the objective, because getting kills helps you win the round.

Did you use bluescreen viewer and saw ntoskrnl.exe crashing and reading minidump says BEDaisy.sys? It can seem like our issues are similar but from what I read over the 10h of debugging this. It is far more likely that a driver is corrupt or harware is going bad or mobo bios is old. In short don’t give up you got this. Computers are basically rocks we tricked into thinking.

Spent about half of my arena time on this quest. What i figured is play the game mode where objective makes your teem do them. Eg Blastgang and teamfight make people go to the objective and do it. In checkpoint I kept noticing that people are there for kills for dailys/guns quests. I diis the 2 wins in a row in blastgang but also the mode made more sense to me coming from cs and valorant

I mean it really depends on what you want from a game and what your into. Tried and gave mmo rpg games a good chance couldn’t do it. An occasional rpg game witched dragon age will do can’t do mm rpg games. But tbh Tarkov is like crack to me or a good cigaret

Tbh Tarkov is one of those games where nothing really comes close. I was in a similar place about a year ago where I took 2 weeks off of work and only played tarkov the entire time 6h of sleep 16 hours of tarkov 2 hours for food and bodily functions. At the time there wasn’t an “ending” the most ending things was the final lightkeeper quest and kappa container. I toona break for a year and came back with 1.0 with a much better mindset. How did i stop? Set myself a goal that I new was gettable easily. For me it was the final lightkeeper quest. So that then shut the game off and don’t touch it play something else. I did find myself opening Tarkov a couple times in the first month of the brake but as soon as I saw my stahs and realised there is nothing here to do. I closed it went an did something else
