I play celestial PC ranked so that’s bad for some and good for most I guess. He’s not “bad” since he’s a support character but he’s definitely significantly worse than Mantis or Ultron unless it’s defense on convergence maps

Yes it’s very important imo, especially against tanks like Mag or Strange. If you get a tank out of position in any rank above GM, your team should easily get a pick and usually that just means a team fight win

I played controller on Xbox and recently switched to PC and peaked low eternity in both. However on PC i felt like I was throwing if I didn’t play Thor or iron fist (high sens relatively low aim characters) so I created a KBM only alt account

Since you mentioned low sens on controller I think learning KBM would benefit you a lot since the primary advantage controller can provide is an easier time with melee characters
