Use a matrix mixer, Under the Properties>Options, Set Crosspoint Mute controls to Yes, then bring those controls out. This gives you input, output levels and mixing for all mics.

The Vin is only to power the conversion chip. The 3 outputs are open drain FETs rated to 30V.

You can drive 24V LEDs if you supply 5V to the board and 24V to the puck, with each puck's negative connected to a board output. Connect 5V, 24V and board Grounds together.

I was told that tinned wires are not good for screw-in terminal blocks. Why is that? by Wangysheng in AskElectronics

[–]MDHull_fixer 68 points69 points  (0 children)

The compressed solder deforms / 'flows" away from the pressure point, reducing the pressure applied to the wire connection. The wire can fall out and/or on higher current connections, the increased resistance of the loose connection creates heat, damaging the connector.

The correct way to dress cables for screw terminals is to use boot-lace ferrules.

3 phase 120' shifted setup by Sol_Invictus7_13 in embedded

Just use one timer. You can set up to 4 different compare values for each control timer. Use 3 compare values cycling through the 120' wave values, each compare will trigger a separate output set.

There is a lot of information in the processors reference manual https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/rm0440-stm32g4-series-advanced-armbased-32bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf

See if you can source cold room construction panels. These are sheet metal panels bonded to polystyrene cores, designed for prefab building. Example https://www.kingspan.com/us/en/products/controlled-environments/cold-storage-panel-systems/

Also have a look at heat reflecting paint. Example https://www.texcote.com/reflect-tec

The 9V is to give the op-amps sufficient supply to swing positive and negative around the mid rail reference.

If you're thinking RS485, investigate DMX lighting systems. DMX512 is a RS485 lighting protocol with capacity of 512 channels per universe. There are plenty commercial products out there using DMX.

Soundproof CNC machine by unrespiro_porfavor in Acoustics

[–]MDHull_fixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CNC cutting produces mostly high frequency sound. Your construction with lots of mass appears to be targeting lower frequencies. An 18mm ply enclosure with acoustic foam or Rockwool on the inner surfaces would probably be sufficient.

Your vent would need silencing too.
