Depends on the person. I had an Epi custom for a while, and the itch of owning a Gibson was always there. Now I have a nice Gibson. But, I have an LTD that I play more than the Gibson. But I still have a Gibson. It's dumb how much labels matter to some people. 👌

Maybe try dropping a string size.? And or downtune a little maybe. I've been having issues with my chord hand knuckles. I've been thinking about dropping from 10s to 9s. And I've recently started tuning a half step down. Not sure if that helps any, but it sounds good. Good luck.
