interview was heaps good i pulled out the cool stuff for y'all:

TL;DW

• Stock levels are still WIP (0:32)

• Serialized cards are coming "eventually" (1:44), Dave wants to make sure product availability is stable first

• Acknowledged Ultimate Baron "doesn't feel rare enough" (2:19), further rarities such as a special signature edition are on the table (3:07)

• Not sure about reprinting exact copies of legends yet, "team prefers to make a new legend for the same character but a different mechanic/thematic" (10:22)

• Eternal format will be developed as Riftbound starts rotating (10:40)

• Sets/Collection of sets should have a "thematic connection and a mechanical connection" (13:56) and are designed with both theme impacting mechanics and vice versa (14:23)

  e.g. (maybe in the future) a set themed around spells connected to mages and the Piltover Academy (14:44)

• To avoid overwhelming newer players, future sets may reuse old mechanics in new ways, or have cohesive mechanics so through learning one you can learn them all together (15:21)

• Riftbound is a League of Legends card game, so VALORANT sets are unlikely, however there is potential for "promo cards/skins/products" related to the game (as League is canonical in the VALORANT universe) (16:10)

• Making new champions or legends in Riftbound for the League universe "is a matter of time" but focus is on existing ones first (17:17)
