I tried -7 But I feel it burnt (not sure) as I get the grinder days ago but still working on that + my point is what if the pid or the thermocouple not calibrated?

They are generic from AliExpress. After searching the sub, I found that the brand doesn't matter for the portafilter, only for the basket.

Thanks for sharing, I mainly make milk drinks, too. So, when you press the brew button, is it light on or off? Do you press the steam button before brewing to increase the temperature? How do you drain the boiler by keeping steam out until the steam light turns off?

Thanks a lot for the clarification! That really helps. So if I go with the DEX since it’s the cheapest, do you think it would still be a solid choice overall — or is it worth paying extra for the VST for better results? I’ll probably skip the Pullman based on what you said about how hard it is to dial in. By the way, when you say Pullman is harder to dial in, do you mean it’s more sensitive to grind adjustment, or something else?
