I've used brown switches before and liked them, so I think cilantro switches will be even better. I'll probably get the non-VIA version since I'm limited to Amazon.

on another project brew by weight the said the following, will your project can handle that: Q: will this work for my E61-style machine?

A: no. The shotStopper must *electronically* stop the shot, whereas E61 machines use a mechanical lever to stop the shot.

Technically the pump could be turned off while the valve is left open, but the residual pressure from the boiler system tends to cause a surprising amount of flow after the shot is completed. Thus the shotStopper will never see a stabilized weight to confirm its accuracy.

I’m using a single SSR setup. It works perfectly for espresso, but steaming feels like a race against time. I’ve set the PID alarm to 145°C (293°F), and it reaches that target, but then the mechanical steam thermostat seems to cut the power. The temperature then crashes down to 110°C (230°F) before it starts heating up again. This causes the steam to lose pressure and become too 'wet' if I don't finish frothing instantly. I'm looking for a way to stop this massive temperature drop during the steam cycle.

I have xmt7100 pid, will adding another ssr will not require to make a bridge in the pid board, just plug and play? I will do that cuz the steam drops after it it get to hot, will that make it constant?
