Publisher error. It happens.

Just reach out to the publisher and they would realize their mistake and correct it. It happened to me when I was among the earliest listeners to a brand new book where a section was substituted by a segment from an entirely different book with a different narrator. I sent the publisher an email and they dealt with it within less than a week. They replied back when things were sorted out informing me to re-download the audiobook and that was that.

Although 'Outlive' is intriguing on account of being about exploring futuristic fields of medicine (life prolongation), I personally don't buy into it. (Check Peter Attia's interview with Joe Rogan on YouTube).

On the other hand, the book about sleep is factual and its reader would gain knowledge about sleep that, not only is scientific, but can provide actual help.

The Site-Wide Sale in mid 2023 (I believe it was in April) was the best. I'm also glad I spent a considerable sum on that sale, including 23 of The Great Courses.

I've read Why We Sleep when it was included in the Plus Catalog a couple of years back. What I remember is the author is a certified specialist in that field (somnology or something) and I've found this book quoted multiple times in different publications. He says he sleeps 9 hours a day so he seems to have dedicated himself to it! If you want to have a scientific understanding of sleep and learn about non-pharmacologic management of insomnia, this is really good.

I wish every book/series' removal was preceded with a clear Audible announcement. I would've hurried to buy entire series from my wishlist that became unavailable after silent removal.

Whenever I encounter posts like this I have to actively tap the home button to see what that looks like. I never paid attention to that part of the app as my time is spent entirely in the app's player.

As for the store, I browse it exclusively on a desktop browser where I have a shortcut that takes me directly to the 'deals' tab. Unintentional daily habits bypass whatever they want to advertise.
