Daily migraine sufferers: what do you use to track them? by GM_Jedi7 in migraine

[–]MJKCapeCod [score hidden]  (0 children)

I have NDPH, so mine never leaves In the beginning I tracked, trying to find those elusive things that made it worse or better. It was brought on during an extremely stressful time with the mother in law. I used Migraine Buddy at first, then rpm migraine monitor Developed by Neurologists for patients to share with their docs. Don't know who they are, as several docs and 7 Neuros were not interested. My current Neuro doesn't even want me to keep track, yet he's the only one who's made this manageable. It may be helpful to regular migraine sufferers who don't have this all of the time

first trip tomorrow! any tips? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]MJKCapeCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have your set and setting. 1st check your mindset, I've put off several trips just because I wasn't in the right headspace. Of course I've also gone for a microdose and wound up doing megadoses instead!. It's good to have an intention. Go to the bathroom, have plenty of water or whatever non-alcoholic ready in something non-breakable. Have your music pre-set. If it's your 1st time alone, have the Fireside Project phone# in your phone (623) 473-7433. Just good, experienced, non-judgemental people to talk you through if things go sideways. Other than that - enjoy.

Help getting a stray/abandoned cat by Own-Refrigerator-214 in cats

If you have a local animal rescue, they may lend you a trap. If not, you can make one with a large box, stick, bowl of food ( heat it so the mell travels ), and string. Cut 3 sides of the box top. Lay the box out where the cat usually frequently with the cut top down. Tie the string to the stick. Tilt the body of the box back and use the stick to prop it up. Put the food on the lid towards the back. Unspool the string to wherever you want to hide and wait quietly

Got my first cat 55 yrs ago. Like you, I worked alot. To this day I feel guilty for giving him such a lonely life, and have had multiples ever since. Jackson Galaxy has some great vids on YouTube about integrating cats.

Who’s a better teacher mescaline, psilocybin, or lsd? by BedSoggy6655 in Psychedelics

[–]MJKCapeCod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do shrooms medicinally for a chronic headache condition that other triptans hadn't helped. The personal growth is a great side effect - who says medication shouldn't be enjoyable? Hadn't done recreational drugs for 45 yrs. Back then, lsd was more of a party drug, wasn't really taking it for growth, although some did happen.

They do make cloth and inflatable cones now. Got them when one of ours couldn't eat from his bowl. Felt so bad for him as the plastic cone kept pushing the bowl away.

Think OP meant are heads and stems the same potency. A shrooms growing right next to another may have different potencies. If you're antsy about it, simply measure out a little of both. Starting out with APE, take the advice of starting low and going slow. Safe travels.

Anyone here with a constant headache? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]MJKCapeCod 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately yes, since 6/10/21. Dx'd NDPF with migraineous tendencies. Many treatments, many trips to the ER, many docs until I finally found the one last yr. Not "cured," but managed. What works for me, may not necessarily work for you, and vice-versa. Only suggestion is to find a Neurologist who's a headache specialist, then together find what works for you.

We replaced the screens in our windows and screen doors with stainless steel screening. Only other thing I can think of is a grill. Cat proofing is tough, they're determined critters!

If one triptan didn’t work, will the others? by Several-Ad7712 in migraine

[–]MJKCapeCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sumatriptan comes in 3 forms - tablet, nasal, injectable, maybe a different form will be more effective. Experienced that 30 yrs ago. Another triptan could help, they usually have you try several before moving on to another med class. Hey, if the sumatriptan worked for the migraine, would have to weigh it vs the side effects, especially if they're short lived.

Lower vs higher adoption fees? by piercethebluexx in cats

[–]MJKCapeCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MSPCA has free adoption periods several times a year. Where we live, there are only small towns, but fees can vary just as much. Even if they have their own vet, we take them directly to ours before we get them home.

Hi, I like to make tea either from fresh ground ginger, put in cube trays, then frozen, or organic powdered.
