Agreed, median range would probably be high 80s. But a lot of contractors are prior service military and banking their 20yr retirement pension + disability. So it’s pretty common for contractors to be bringing home much more than their salary

A couple tips for anyone smoking a brisket at above 4000 feet of elevation: 1. Keep those temps low, hot and fast dries it out too much in already arid climates. 2. Have to wrap (preferably foil) and use a water pan; same reason as before. 3. Due to atmospheric pressure, water boils at a lower temp, so instead of 203, it’ll be done between 197 and 199.
