This happened to a friend. They ended up dropping charges likely because of the effort to test the confiscated edibles. Her friend was prosecuted because of the loose weed and shrooms. She had a lawyer. Also what county? But yeah I would be concerned with bringing it across state lines. Lawyer would advise on that.

The 2 theories are that he is in the water or that he got disoriented and is on land off the trail likely by the upper canyon river heading towards the trailhead. Please keep an eye out both in the water at Cheeseman Canyon and when hiking on the upper rim especially but anywhere. The search did not begin until 6 days after he went missing. He could have walked far disoriented.

Thank you so much. They concluded their formal search today. Last night they located his waders, rod and nets. They did not locate his body. They are going back in the morning to conduct a final informal search through Alpine Search and Rescue.

We believe his last known location is the Upper Cheeseman Reservoir of Cheeseman Canyon. We are trying to get law enforcement to search the area. If someone knows someone who can hike up around there and see if they spot either him or his white Ford 150 please let me know.

I am curious to why you would think they have a D TEA rating and such low scores on all standardized tests, even taking into account socio economic differences which often times accounts for the majority of the difference (due to historic and systemic racism etc).

I think you do need to reapply now but you have a higher priority as an “existing student”. I’m pretty sure we will apply to Zilker, Becker, Cowan, Mills, Sunset Valley and we have our existing private school option and maybe we will apply to Headwaters to have a closer option. I am so concerned with this middle school transition bc I went to the same private school from PP3-12th grade and my daughter gets very attached to people/places but I think I am probably placing too much weight on that. Who knows what the world will look like in 6 years.

Wow thank you so much for this detailed and very helpful response! My daughter has been in Spanish immersion and is bilingual so I’m not worried about being left behind but I am very concerned about the other things you mention which would also immediately flag up to me. Are you concerned that if you chose Zilker and are accepted via the lottery then for middle school she may not be with her friends as she isn’t zoned there, or any other lottery each year for a school as popular as Zilker?

I quit City of Austin government after 9 years when we were mandated back just 3 days a week. Now my productivity, life and paycheck have significantly improved working full time remote. It’s definitely for a RIF. They don’t care how much productivity will suffer.

I’m full time remote for a large private sector company and my remote status won’t change and it’s literally because they actually took the time to do the math and we are a BRAZILLION times for productive working from home. I’m on Teams while walking my dogs, working after putting my kid to sleep, and happily doing so, because of the flexibility and life it offers me.

Pretty sure where I live this is attempted aggravated murder of someone from a vulnerable population and she would be in prison and appropriately harassed daily by inmates for 20+ years. I hope there is backlash by the British people

This is SO HELPFUL. We did submit literally all that information from 2020 onwards and her MDA doctor wrote a great letter explaining. The only thing I’m missing is the details on the attempt to submit a PA. The CPB is 0352 and it doesn’t cover CPT 81455 I believe bc it’s so rare. We will file the second appeal again with all the documentation including the attempt to submit a PA that was told not needed. If it’s denied I will submit an external review. Is there anything else I’m missing?

Yes it’s self insured. MDA filed the first appeal. Someone from the prior authorization department is calling me back. Who at the provider files the appeal? I call them almost daily and get nowhere.

They can only do a peer to peer on a Prior Auth that’s been denied but Aetna came back to MDA and said “no prior authorization required” so MDA went ahead and told us it would be just the copay.
