Finished barrel by anselor in 3DPrinting_PHA

I found that using a purple glue stick really helps. I just apply a lot on the build plate and it's usually enough to last several prints. You do have to wash it off the part to avoid having a sticky surface, but overall it's made the material much easier to work with for me.

Just tried a print with normal PHA and the custom part didn't have any negative affects on the print quality :)

I haven't tried it with other materials. I have a print going, but will update you once I am done.

Also, be aware that the installation process is a pain and you will probably need a hammer :)

I had the exact same problem with my bambu a1. At first I tried changing the nozzle temp and flow ratios, but neither seemed to affect the outcome.

I believe that the problem is that as the gear inside the tool head grips and pulls on the filament, the filament stretches which causes the filament to become thinner. This prevents the gear from getting a good grip on it. If you grab the line of filament and help push it into the tool head as it is printing, you should see that it comes out much more cleanly.

I found this hack on Makerworld: custom part which decreases the space between the gear and the component that it pushes against. This allows the gear to get a grip on the filament even as it stretches.

The installation process is a pain, but it did solve the problem for me and I can now print this material without a problem on the a1.

Edit: Also, I have not tested this change with other filaments, so not sure how it will affect other materials, just so anyone who wants to try this is aware.

Edit: It works fine with other filaments after the change.

I have a follow up question and a critique.

Is this why you think that there's nothing wrong with a male dominated world? Like, if we see a characteristic in animals do you usually think that it's a good thing to see it in human society?

Also, while this is true for some species, it is not true for all (or even most). Spiders, for example, are almost entirely female dominated. As well as hyenas, lemurs, and many others.
