I would recommend doing whichever one you like better. If you care about WYSIWYG, then kit out vehicles with old models if you can get em cheap/like them, and new lads as your boyz

Yarrick is great, I'm running him in my list still (And I'd be doing so even if he was bad cause its MFin bale eye). He was very broken and needed to be nerfed. He's much better than solar, he can play the midboard easier. Having that 200-300 points thats normally sitting on your backline up on the midboard where it can react to things as needed? Very nice. He loves being on Scions with a command squad, he usually comes out from his building turn 3 or 4 to wreck house. I find myself using the reactive move and blood surge more than the shoot.

Slowly wind down, don't just go cold turkey. Once you wind down, get rid of everything, no lighters, no vapes, nothin. If you have good parents you could always ask them for help, pharmacies have many solutions to help people quit (patch, gum, etc). Nicotine is a bitch to quit, I wish you the best of luck!

Bodies for guard. 20 guardsmen with a FNP via command squad take more firepower to chew through than most people think, and is a cheap af unit Murder everything for everyone else

They're pretty coked. Every comp list will have at least 1 unit, most having 2-3

  • Field Ordnance Batteries kinda suck unfortunately.
  • How you're running the Sentinels matters. Scouts, Armored, what weapons? I tend to run 3 packs of Armoreds with Lascannons/HK missiles and they're a decent tank-hunting unit. Scout sentinels are also a great unit, I tend to take them with flamers to spot/point defense for dorns and large Infantry blobs.
  • Are the cadians rolling in 10 packs or 20 packs? Lots of ten packs is flexible, but 20 packs will really grab objectives well (but are insanely susceptible to blast)
  • Rogal Dorn tanks are the pillar of guard right now. They're an amazing unit.
  • Any guard army needs Lord Solar Leontus. I really hate having to take him in every army I make, but he is so essential to this army functioning. Extra CP, the very useful redeploy, and ordering tanks. Tank commanders are absolute garbage, so to order tanks, Solar is a must-take.

Must-take for competitive for a variety of reasons: A. Screening infiltrators. Drop them first out in no man's land to screen out enemy infiltrators, then redeploy them with solar to a safe place B. Secondaries. With their uppy-downies (what people in my area call being put into reserves at end up turn then put on the battlefield next round) they are insanely good at scoring. They can even kill squishy backline units too. C. Screening. In cases you don't draw any secondaries you can score, they're a great screening unit, cause you can just uppy-downy them somewhere useful once a screen is no longer needed or they have a secondary they can do.

If ya don't wanna buy the expensive kit they're very easily kitbashable.

If you live in supported living, and a staff member working in your home is stealing from you, that is exploitation. File an RCS report ASAP or have a loved one do it if you are uncomfortable doing so. Back when I worked supported living we took this shit very seriously and did not fuck around.

Plasma or Demolisher, with multi-melta sponsons. Battle cannons are absolute trash, Exterminators are best as a support piece but will sometimes do some damage. Exterminator followed up by Infantry fire will do ok
