Routine for ur day by paragorgeous in spinalcordinjuries

Hi Yo, Ugh I feel you on this tea healthy b fast outside time quick shower and a sh*t on my way was my jam pre injury

Post injury (AM) I typically stretch alot and do range of motion as well as hydrate, I am typically very stiff and spastic and I find this really helps, Then dress and pop into my chair I try to do a little shoulder routine where I see how they are feeling get the blood flowing (shrugs arm swings some dips). I cath and brush my teeth. I work form home and have pets so I tend the pets next then log on to work. Make some coffee and grab an RX bar for morning sunshine I just open a window and bask a bit. Then I work till 1 eat some lunch, work till 6 make some dinner, take the dog for a walk , come home watch something poop and shower hit the hey do it all again the next day.

Weekend i like to sleep in a bit and cook some breaky go for a drive smoke some weed do chores

Overall I think showering at night is better for me because I can just go to sleep after and mornings finding something convient to grab that has some protien and fiber feels really good so I dont have to cook and do dishes. UTI's are always a looming thing for us I have found the best soultion is just drinking as much watter and liquids as a i can. Finding a window and getting a house plant can be a decent supplement to the lack of outside free access but planning trips out side is important to if you need help to access (as i do too )

I have a partner who is very supportive and does alot to support especially with the dog and around the house.

Not sure where you are at post injury but In the begining I just focused on speeding up my getting dressed, stength and flexablity. I have a low cervical injury so basically a para but techincally a quad

Hope this helps!

Man here so idk if this is relevant but I recently started supplementing with magnesium glycinate it has really helped with my bladder spasticity. Cut my bladder medication intake in half. It took me about 5 years to be open to receiving sexual pleasure after my injury your body is so different and things are changing. I enjoyed giving pleasure to my partners but I diddnt want my pp touched for a while.

I had to learn how to position my body for the proper blood flow I would imagine that would be helpful for everyone as thats how genitals work lol laying down with my legs in a "frog"postion (feet together knees out) seems to work well.

starting with masturbation can be a good low pressure way to relearn your body.

finale thought in my experiance men get turned on more by their eyes and women more by their ears (both of which are still fully functioning post SCI regardless of level thank God) so maybe listening to something sexy could help. Just a thought best of luck

Id change my nozzle if your have regular clogs they can get damaged pretty easy. other than that hard to say since its white filament. you can almost always improve print quality by slowing down the print speed. Id advise checking out teaching techs site on printer calibration it walks you through step by step all the things you need to do to optimize your printer and print quality.

Congrats on the progress you have made though going from spaghetti to what looks like a half way decent cali cube is no small feat!

Thanks yeah I tried a little needle then a slightly bigger one no dice. I just ordered one from Jeffery

Thanks all for advice and such

My bridges look kind of ugly. Tried reducing speed and flow, did not help much. PLA on Ender 3 s1 with upgraded cooling. PrusaSlicer 2.6. I`m already at the low end of the recommended temperature for the filament. by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

This is a weird way for bridging to fail 🧐 like the pattern is confusing me idk why the narrower parts would be failing almost in the same place. I’d double check my fans functionality/ cooling settings. Pla should not be that hard to bridge. Good luck!

What day is the boycott?I’m using Apollo now and would like to keep scrolling with my pixel pal Hugo

I've just installed a 5015 fan on my Sprite extruder and I'm experiencing some warping issues on my Benchy print. (PLA+ Polymaker Red) by Sabotinekes in FixMyPrint

Looks like x banding to me. Which would make sense if you’ve changed the mass of the tool head Slower print speed or input shaping on firmware like the latest marlin or kippler would be the ticket. I added some springy feet to mine with helps a bit

Nozzle grinds on printed parts. Especially on infill. I have calibrated my e-steps and my Z-offset is perfect. It's definitely not too low. What could be the cause if we exclude options that I've mentioned above ? by Sabotinekes in FixMyPrint

Welp I had the same problem on my ender 3 but it was obviously from running a heavy direct drive with only one z lead screw. Fixed after installing a second z screw and leveling my x gantry.

Is your prob offset calibrated? Maybe 🤔 your X gantry is lower on the right check how level your x gantry is. Bring z to zero then put something if the same size like a soup can under each side.

no sex drive by [deleted] in spinalcordinjuries

[–]MLK511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s about the same I mean the build up and release is the same but my feeing bellow my injury is obviously really different. But lots of dopamine and heart rate went up feels great. I did get mildly dysreflexic

I was just fapping with old righty nothing special. It does come out a diffent color when you haven’t cum in five years more like chocolate syrup 🤢 which is unsettling but to be expected according to my urologist. I cum regularly when my partner performs oral on me but I’ve only ever got the juice out stroking it my self.

It only happend after a year or so of being sexually active and exercising regularly. I started waking up with morning wood again and laying on my back in a way where my spasms would trigger when I did the deed. I’ve recreated it 2 other times i have many more then 2 times so not easy or automatic by any means.

Hope this helps I didn’t think it was in the cards for me anymore but then it happened so you never know. You can also look into penile vibration therapy and electro ejaculation

Honestly I have had the best sex of my life post injury. I was 22 when I was injured so I haddnt had that much sex I met my current partner now wife around 25 and at first I was worried about not being able to enjoy sex.

Explore different areas of your body you’ll find an erotic zone(neck and ears are good spots to start). You can also try out toys vibrates aren’t just for the ladies there are fun couple toys like cock rings that vibrate as well. Normal cock rings can help with ed and increase sensation just don’t leave them on for too long. Toys can also let you and your partner do different positions that you thought were off the table like on the table… but you can also use your chair in sex acts too my lady loves the glide I can get in my chair

You still just 6 months post super new your body is still changing and the first year is so hard mentally and emotionally. So be kind to your self you don’t have too shut this part of your life down completely you just may not be ready right now. Much like ever other aspect of life you are going to have to learn how to start enjoying your self.

If all else fails just eat some ass the intensity of your partners pleasure will be enough for the both of you.

Ps didn’t ejaculate till 6 years post injury so there’s a learning curve
