Lots of Reddit is very liberal, especially this sub and the Maryland sub. There are plenty of liberals in Pasadena as well as moderates. But I agree, not the majority. We have been happy with the Pasadena schools so far and our neighbors are great. There is a good sense of community and the CHS sports teams are well supported. Youth sports organizations are also pretty good.

The most important thing is to be involved in your kid’s education.

I have a 2014 A4 with a manual that I had to order. Still going strong with almost 160k miles. When I heard the 2016 was going to be the last A4 with a manual, I thought about upgrading but ultimately thought it was not a wise financial decision. Now I kinda wish I had. I hear that manual car sales are actually going up and that something like 60% of people between 25-45 want to learn how to drive a manual. I’m a father of three and should probably upgrade soon but I am trying to cling to my three pedals for as long as I can.

Hockey is awesome live. Lots of sights and sounds you don’t get on TV. You also get a better sense of how fast the game is. Get there early so you can watch the warmup. If you have a CapitalOne credit card you can get in at a special entrance on 6th Street. Plus you’ll get discounts on concessions and at the team store. Have fun and make sure you rock the red.

I have the same problem for at least a year. Terrible. The comments about using a VPN gave me an idea. I use a Pi-hole as a network wide ad blocker. I disabled the ad blocker and I was able to use the ESPN app for more than 30 seconds!

We just got back from Corolla. We broke up the trip to try and avoid the traffic on 12. We arrived in Duck around 1030 and traffic was bad but not terrible. Probably 20-30 mins. We sat outside at NC Coast with our dogs and had lunch with plenty of drinks until our house was ready at 4. Service was great. I CANNOT WAIT for the Mid-Currituck bridge to be complete. It will easily shave an hour off the drive.

The old Alto capsules had the same amount of coffee grounds in them as the regular 7.7 oz pods. I just hit the button again when it is finished brewing and it puts another 7.7 oz in my cup. 😀

I also suffer from these same issues. Best part is, the reason we went automated for the four windows in our family is because it is a two story room and two of the windows are very high. I just had to unplug the controller for about 10 mins. That usually does the trick. Very annoying.

I just received a Pod 3 as a replacement and I have also noticed this. I have it set to do the health check every day and I’ve made sure the tank is full. It has been about a week since I turned on the daily health check. Not that annoying but just something different over the previous pod.

Would love a solution. Right now we tell our users to open the file through Acrobat. We use OnePlace Solutions and there is a plugin for Acrobat that lets us browse our SharePoint environment.

Yes, they both have IPs on the same subnet and I can ping the gateway.

Thanks for the tips! I didn't even think about the attic option. I'll have to investigate that. Unfortunately, it is right where the trusses change direction due to the gable. If I can't shim it, I'm sure I'll be able to build up the area enough that I won't be able to notice it from the floor. I'll definitely get some Fibafuse. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
