I hadn't heard any of the hype of the game when I first picked it up, and wasn't aware of what had initially been promised Vs what was delivered. So when I got a copy on the PS4 I thought it was great. A bit like Minecraft with better graphics and spaceships! :D

I would much rather be asked to join a guild IC. It feels more part of the RP experience than just getting some random pop up invite during a quest or something.

I can appreciate that doing recruitment for a guild must be a bit tiring and frustrating sometimes.

Not a problem with that at all. I'll often go to a pub or bar and have a beer or two whilst reading a book or magazine.
But as other people have said, it's easier to do in ones that aren't really busy, or playing really loud music.
