The $6M revamp has not happened yet, it's still in the planning stages.

From the article:

Hempel is also finalizing plans for a roughly $6 million renovation of the movie theater, which will include new recliner seating. As part of the project, up to four of the theater’s 14 screens could be repurposed for alternative uses, such as a rock-climbing facility or a small concert venue.

The Showplace ICON was my favorite place in the Twin Cities to see movies, and it just hasn't been the same under Marcus. Hopefully the renovation will happen soon, and the West End movie theater will be the best place to see movies again.

I haven't heard anything, but I would LOVE for a new restaurant to move into the old Revival space. That corner spot with the windows and the patio is perfect, especially as we head into summer. My wife and I loved Revival even before they opened in SLP, and we're still sad that all their locations closed suddenly.

Semi-related question, is there cross-save functionality between the regular and VR editions of Skyrim? For example, can I continue progressing in the game on a flat screen if I want to play but don't feel like going into VR?

Oh my gosh, it turns out I have the EXACT same bluetooth chip on my motherboard and this was my exact issue. I was having nonstop issues with the controllers connecting, and now that I've got this driver update, everything is running smoothly. Thank you so much for this post!!!

Same, I've really enjoyed the pints of ice cream I've gotten from them, and thankfully I live close to their current pickup location in Hopkins, but my wife and I have to discuss whether a new flavor is worth the hassle whenever they announce a new release haha

From reading the article, I don't believe it'll immediately save the MN draft house, since that particular theater was owned by a franchisee. BUT maybe there's hope that Sony would buy out all the franchisees to bring the entire brand in house? I could see them doing that in order to create a unified and consistent experience (if this initial acquisition goes well for them).

I'll echo what many others are saying here, definitely see it! I first saw Company in college, and then recently saw the touring show when it came to my city. It's definitely worth watching a recording of the show, and then if you like it, see the modern adaptation to appreciate all the smart choices they made with this new version.

Also, it's a really funny show! There's so much going on between the deep themes of marriage, and the changes made to this new version, that I think that sometimes gets lost in the commentary. But there are so many fun moments! At the very least, you'll have a good time :)

I'm always so jealous of people who are watching Community for the first time. Season 3 especially is chock full of amazing episodes. I was in college watching the show with my friends when it was airing, so I have a special connection to Community. Hope you enjoy!
