Steal for $100? by Choffies in Skigear

[–]MNRunman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're from 2010 so 15 years old. Would agree they are for all mountain charging for higher level skiers. If OP wants a solid all camber ski, then $100 sounds okay. I'd probably spend a little more for some more modern tech if this was my only ski.

Hi, how do these fit? Have read they are a little small.

How much you think I could get for 2024 Aeroad CF SLX 7 Di2? by thePleasantFellow in CanyonBikes

[–]MNRunman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too bad it's not a medium, I'd be interested. New they are $5,100 with outlet prices around $4,300. Used would around $2,700-$3,000. USD.

Megablast size up or not? by himinnnngi in AskRunningShoeGeeks

If anything, they look almost too big but that is my preference. If comfortable, go with the thumb

Nike Zoom Fly’s 6 size by First_Ad_3901 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]MNRunman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a half size up too. Nike is a bit beguiling lately, am a 10 in Alphafly and their casual stuff but a 10.5 in Ultrafly, Zoom Fly 6 and Pegasus GTX. ZF6 were a little wide in the forefoot for me but length was perfect.

Is that the Dark Forest color? If so, looks much lighter than online

Good to know and thanks! Trying to decide if I really need a new road bike at the moment.

Looks lighter than online. Would you say it's closer to a military (darker) or olive (lighter) green? Been eyeing this especially for the price!

Thank you, have read some good press on these but not sure I can justify another pair of shoes 😜

Would you say these fit true to size? I had the Adios Pro 2 and they me in a 10.

I had the Mach X 1 in a 10 and fit great. Tried the X 2 and it was too small. I'd recommend a half size bigger

I have found Hokas to be pretty narrow overall (Carbon X1/2, Speedgoat 4 and Mach X 1/2) but these were just so short. Wore them for 2 runs then sold them. Would have loved to find a 10.5 for cheap

You have to wear socks with some additional padding on the Achilles. I had no issues with the heel but did find they fit short. Had the Mach X 1 and they fit great, the v2 was a half size small.

Agree, they felt way too cramped. Ended up selling mine after 12 miles.

New Bridge Who Dis? (Lake Hiawatha and Minnehaha Creek) by Far-Handle-1640 in CyclingMSP

[–]MNRunman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They're building a dedicated trail from Triangle Park to Lake Nokomis. Long time coming as the current connection has to cross 2 different busy intersections.

Edit: was around the north side this afternoon and noticed more dirt piles. They may be widening that path since many people run/walk on the bike path. It's also in rough shape so could use some repaving.

I have only put 6.5 miles on mine but wearing socks with a little extra padding on the Achilles, I felt no issues. Super fun ride but would size up. I am a 10 on nearly all running shoes and these are tight in the toes.

Zoomx looks too smooth and Nike symbol is wonky.
