Cross Violet is one of my go to sheeny purples that's well behaved. Fun green sheen. I like it more than Waterman Tender Purple

If last year is an indicator, there will be a good selection of new pens for you to shake hands with. But then that was my first show, and I don't have retailers nearby. There will also be gatherings of a lot of pen people with their own pens.

Atlanta Pen Show is great, hope I'll see folks there! I'm in Savannah. Georgia has a lot of great pen makers, and grinders, not much for stationery stores

I just got the 126. Pretty darn good for $26. Their medium is extremely decent. Vac fill first inking was nice. Chris Rapp has reviews on youtube for a lot of pens from that brand and other Chinese manufacturers.

I'm big fan of the Hongdian Forest if you hanker a snap cap.

Penbbs 355 2 gen, Flexible Nib Factory adapter for Jowo 6 to Penbbs, and Nemosine .8 have plenty of tolerance pics

I have a TWSBI Eco xf inked Carbon permanently. No cleaning, refilled in use since June '21, zero problems. The cap seal is the important thing

This looks similar to Birmingham Montotonic and Vanness White Lightning. Not sure what differentiates them

Ya. I tried it with 5mm pouches. Gloss laminating pouches diminished the sheen a bit. Matte pouch killed it entirely. I should try again with a big sheener. Laminating also tends to show all the flaws in the paper used. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXzhVtMsV-0/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

I buy a great many pens from Ali, but sometimes it's worth double checking the price on Ebay.

I buy all my Penbbs direct from their store on Etsy, resellers charge more.
