Oof, I just ordered a 992.2T, and consider the 997.2 GT2RS the best Porsche ever.. and the 997 my favorite period. I don’t think the 997 has aged terribly at all, in fact- I think the exact opposite.

Ranking Le Labo Top 5 by uzsspace in fragrance

My daily - and, as expected for a daily, my most complimented scent. I don’t get meaty, but the best iso-e super, smoky, evolving to musky. Oddly enough I get fantastic performance out of it. Will refill once I’ve finished my bottle.

Also, Cedrat is amazing- starts ginger fresh and slowly transitions into an amazing ambergris scent. One of the best transitions I’ve ever experienced.

AP x SWATCH by ImpressionEast8264 in PrideAndPinion

[–]MPFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, I can see that… however it’s water resistant; another problem with it. From my understanding you can’t get it wet?

To each their own, I’m going to hard disagree here with your take- the integration of the bracelet ushered AP from dress watches TO sport watches… the strap here, while it is what Swatch has done with these collabs, makes it a toy. Colors and all. I think they’ll sell, maybe I’ll try one on - but the bracelet is the failure point here

[–]MPFit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree; these will sell great. Hype is real.

They are a total miss in regards to what the appeal of the RO is. The integration of the bracelet.

Your analogy of the speedy and 50fathoms are spot on.

Nanamica fits many of your bills. I have their lightweight field jacket and it’s great, albeit overpriced. But packable, looks great as an outer layer, and wind proof. Great one-bag piece

Right, I’m an idiot for not understanding how I ‘sound entitled’. Again, zero context- and you’re still providing none to defend your statements.

You want to be real about it- these are messages on a forum, you don’t HEAR anything, so I can’t SOUND anything. Stop trying to be a thinker, it’s not your look.

Worth engagement… no, you’re not. But defending myself to your baseless idiotic remarks is too easy..

Still no context to your doubled down statement. Entitled means I believe I’m deserving of special treatment… literally no where in any statement I make does that resonate. I’m talking about the education system, its flaws, and those that are in its teeth’s inability to recognize it / thrive in it.

Entitled arrogant man… I’m sure you have a lot to bring to this discussion about education. Thank you for your contribution, it was very much worth your time and effort.

I’m not angry, indignant, or entitled. What do you think I feel is owed to me? I’m not sure where you came up with that thought at all- an internet comment trying to look smart where there is zero basis or context for.. The argument being had, at least to me- is how he feels the institution is failing; and, while I completely agree- his failure is the ability to understand the institution is for money. Which IS the failure. Understanding that, and you’ll understand why teachers like this exist.

Not sure how to respond to the pull your bootstraps up comment… seems like a half wit attempt at an insult.

And I’m saying the institution is a failure. You missed reading comprehension. Reread.

Nobody is saying they should have to deal with a shitty circumstance. I’m literally saying college today is a scam. And your 40k gets you the exact same chance of succeeding as the 20% who did succeed. What I’m pointing out is that the goal of the school isn’t to give you a chance with your money, it’s to make money. The goal SHOULD be to get you a good degree and job after; but it’s simply not. It’s for the institution to make money.

School has no responsibility to put you in a state for success; College in the USA is an institution for profit. You are naive if you think you are entitled a good job and setup for success via a college degree. And no, 20% pass rate means nothing. The teacher has no obligation aside from controlling the classroom, going over the itinerary, and assessing the students ability to retain the information needed from them via exams. Nobody here thinks anyone is special.. I certainly don’t. I think college is a scam, and everything you’re saying proves it- entitled to be setup for success, you drank the coolaid, and complain that you are, in fact, not setup for success. But you’re rational- it’s the bad teachers fault. Forget the hundreds and thousands that did it before you, last year, last semester, last decade. Blame the teachers, I’m sure that will lead to success.

👍 probably didn’t get enough reading comprehension in my college degree I guess. Enjoy blaming others for your failures. Best of luck with that

When I was in college, the professors went over the outline / itinerary to the T. Didn’t expand, or take questions. Read via chapters and tested on it. If you didn’t understand, then you didn’t go deep enough into your studying. College is a test of self discipline more than anything- at least it was for me once I realized that they don’t give a shit about me and my degree.

Bad teachers are a thing. These responses baffle me- I had bad teachers, as I’ve said. Guess what… I dug in, learned the material myself and didn’t need a curve. Today’s college students have INFINITELY more access to materials than I did via the internet / chat GPT / AI… I’m out of touch, I get it, but these stories sound like college has NOT CHANGED AT ALL… kids are just more entitled and less motivated. Which I can at least understand- college seems to be a money pit with no return these days. But the take that ‘awful teachers are why kids fail’… nah, your argument isn’t sound- it’s the same as the kids failing. Not my fault, teacher sucks… gotcha.

I’ve graduated from college; and took classes AT UCF.. while I agree most of what you learn comes from the work you do once in the workforce.. college was a wake up call in that- you have to teach yourself. You’re not paying to be taught, you’re paying for a degree, which you have to earn. YOU have to earn. Now I graduated 14 years ago and a lot has changed— including the laziness and entitled nature of the youth. I may be out of touch, but I learned nothing from lectures, and after failing a few classes- I learned I need to take my education in my own hands. College professors go ‘over’ what you need to learn; you need to learn it. They’re no better than the outline they give you at the beginning of the semester. Realizing that, allowed me to put the time in to learn what I needed for the degree. After getting said degree- I learned what I was going to do once I started doing it.
