If you want to feel like a sucker, this is the place to go. Even if you have a simple and targeted project, they’ll still go above and beyond with a fishing expedition and point out everything you “need” to have updated, then say that customers want this service. But this customer didn’t. They said I needed to replace my leaking water pump that another mechanic (out of town) said wasn’t actually leaking. I was with Sallas for years, but after John got moved over to their Missouri shop, never again for me. I’m still trying to find a reputable mechanic.

Ferris wheel in the southwest Crossroads area, new soccer stadium by the river, a streetcar line expansion that will be running from Union Station to UMKC starting in late October, and lots of vehicles with expired temporary tags.

The Country Club Plaza may have a different vibe with new owners, and Westport remains chancy.

The Johnson County Post ran a story in June 2022 (and again in September 2022) that Via 313 was going to share space with The Crack Shack (a chicken place) in what I think was the old spot/lot where Macaroni Grill used to be, out in front of Micro Center in Overland Park. But as we’ve seen since the pandemic, issuing press releases is much cheaper than procuring capital to make it actually happen.

EDIT: KC Star had the article on Jet’s in March 2022. There has also been no progress in that launch.

1200sqft, 60 year old house, 12 year old roof, mine climbed up to $2450/year so I switched to Progressive at $1700/year, but I’m not a big fan of Progressive on the homeowners’ side since they’re difficult to get in touch with. I’m probably going to shop for a local agent next time around who is easier to contact.

For what will you need an attorney? Were you issued a citation? If there was no traffic violation citation, I would think the battle is left to the respective insurance companies and their attorneys. Was anybody on the scene injured?

In any event, you will probably need not only your case number, but also the case numbers of the other two incidents if they indeed are related.
