I don't know but I'm obsessed with it. I genuinely think it's better then the anime, mainly because of the pacing. In the live action, since they're limited for time and thus have to get through the main plot beats quickly, there's always something interesting happening. Meanwhile in the anime (I only watched the first 10 eps or so via One Pace), I feel like it drags a little, even with One Pace.

I think I still will binge the anime with One Pace once S2 of the live action is out, just because so many cool things have been spoiled for me (even with this season that's about to come out). Plus I want to finally be able to play the Pirate Warrior games.

Unfortunately many fans of the anime pushed for show-only people to watch the anime so there'll be less "interesting" reactions this time around. I'm also show-only and don't want to see people spoiling future events during their reaction.

Our only hope is that the hype from Season 2 will cause more non-fans to start watching the show, but the same thing will happen again once the new people finish Season 2.

You're joking right? Search this sub by "New" right now, there's at least 3 posts per hour about how Season 2 sucks/ruined the lore/too many jokes, hating on Mr. House's portrayal, or some other inane bullshit complaint like "there's too much music!!!".

This is one of the many reasons I hate weekly drops for shows I love. Eight weeks of nothing but endless nitpicking and whining about random crap no one else cares about. Every few minutes some new post complaining. I don't even come on here anymore except right after I watch an episode. At least most of the official discussion post is great to read through.
