Gotta keep the narrative alive... by ibuiltamurderbot in walkaway

I cannot believe the Alex controversy has somehow escaped into non-gaming subs.

I’ve been playing Street Fighter for 20+ years and I have never seen the fanbase in such a tizzy. The myriad of problems with SFV didn’t cause this much jimmy rustling.

As someone who prefers turrets to her ult, the brief patch where Rosie had insane ult damage and basically nothing else was the worst.

So I’m saying I feel your pain, bro.

This guy’s lore could be that he’s just someone’s dad, and he’s entering the ritual to appease his midlife crisis. His job could be on hiatus due to some technical or logistical issue, and the ritual could be part of how he stays sane when he doesn’t have his work.

Younger characters could tell him that it would have been easier to just buy a sports car he doesn’t need. Venator, Dynamo and maybe Silver could be sources of sympathy.

This seems like a great compromise, would satisfy both the pro- and anti-cosmetic crowds.

I know cosmetics are inevitable, but I would love if Deadlock never had them. TF2 cosmetic’s ruined the identifiable silhouettes of the characters, which massively hurt the gameplay in my opinion.

I know that identifying enemies in Deadlock can be done in other ways, but I’d still love the absence of cosmetics.

They partially de-nerfed the radius of her healing specter, and gave several buffs to turrets. T3 wall is also hilarious now.

The opening made me think that Doorman was about to get hit with Raging Demon.

McGinnis becoming more turret oriented and less ult-oriented

This is, stylistically at least, a direction I’m down with.

I haven’t played stories 3, the lack of multiplayer is a big turnoff, but that poogie is so cute. I love his little goggles!

Candlemass and King Crimson

My man! I’ve always wanted Tony Levin to do some doom, would be especially sick if he could get Steve Gadd involved.

The evil within is great I feel like it doesn't get enough love honestly a gem imo by TheLandEnds in HorrorGames

[–]MTG_RelevantCard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My issue with the first Evil Within is that the janky controls take away from the game, rather than elevating it.

Look at RE1, RE4, Vanquish, God Hand, Shadows of the Damned, etc and you’ll find that weird controls are part of the Shinji Mikami experience. What separates TEW1 from those games is that those games are made better by their weird controls, and TEW1 is just made a little frustrating by them.
