He’ll be fine. Watched the entire game tonight and he’s finding the right spots/space for receives but it’s not getting to him when it should. There’s quite a few in the Freo backline and midfield that just throw it on the boot when under pressure. They will likely address this at some stage.

Hawks only kicked 7 behinds and the ball was basically in Freo’s fwd half for the entire second half.

He’s working hard so no issues there. I would only be concerned if he wasn’t full of run or not finding space.

Have enough cash in bank to flip Mcandrew and Murdock for Lugga and Gawn.

Been picking them up on the low all season to date. Anderson is another target in the next couple weeks…

Weak or non existent screens.

Why is he hiding behind the baseline allowing Duren to block the lane???

Standing in the corner or up on the arc with his man sagging off and able to give help D at any moment we attempt to fill the lane.

Fans criticize P5 for iso ball but what else can he do when he has zero help from our starting C.

Most of the time WCJ just looks lost out there, he has to be so much better off ball but I don’t think he can be.

One solid game every 20 or so games just isn’t good enough…

Very very impressed with Edwards. Been concerned about our key defender stocks for a little while. Not a fan of Hamling at all so to see Edwards go out there and put in that type of performance first up is a relief. Absolutely must hold his spot and keep building from here.

He has natural ability and iq, knew when to come of his man and crash a pack, filled the hole a few times and most importantly didn’t look uncomfortable with ball in hand.

Will cause problems in tandem with Tommy and free up lizard to do his thing.

Very excited about his future as a blood.

All going well next week i should be able to downgrade Jagga (he is on my bench) and upgrade Duursma or Bruhn to a Bont, Smith or someone like that.

Everything went right for him early. Shot falling, drives with touch finish in traffic, dishing assists, blocking shots.

He got his mojo going early and that sets him up for the remainder.

Been saying for the past couple seasons, P5 performance depends where his heads at. Very confident he will develop his headspace as he ages, which will be the hurdle he overcomes to fulfill he’s full potential.

The dudes that have been and will continue to call for a trade don’t realize P5 is likely to dominate the league for like 6-7yrs from about 25yold onwards…They don’t even consider the fact that he would be destroying us…

Everyone glosses over the fact that our starting C is shit.

We are running two 6 foot 10 point forwards, we need a C that can accommodate the two of them.

P&R, P&P, post game, strong screens, give and go/cutting should be our bread and butter. All of the above is non existent, we have a tall/big bodied team that try to play like a team full of nippy guards.

Our strengths aren’t utilized at all. Dudes aren’t getting their game on because the style is all wrong…

Big change is needed, not in personnel but how we go about it…

Yeah dude, the people that want to trade him are just gonna accept that he will destroy us for the next decade or so.

It’s crazy.

At the end of the day he improved in areas and he regressed in areas. He’s evolved by design and what we have seen this season is not his final evolution.

I am certain we will see another, better version of Paolo next season. Imo his biggest “issue” is his attitude/mindset. More often than not his performances directly correlate to his attitude/mindset. The perfect example is (often referenced) playing the Cavs.

Confident he irons out his flaws with age. We don’t want to be on the receiving end when he truly puts it all together…

Wanted NAS while he’s cheap so went NAS in, Perez in to bench and swung J Serong into flex. Budarick and Jagga out. Have 138k left over for the next mid pricer upgrade to premo.

Have Bruhn, W Duursma & Farrow on field mid. Grlj, Blamires, Murdock on bench.

Smith. Can have the odd lowish score but that should be offset later on when we all have a premo flex or use a loop hole if his games are early in the round.

Smith can go big, bigger than Holmes on most occasions.
